Pogba at his best is probably the best midfielder in the world. Aouar can’t sniff that. It’s funny, Aouar is evidently this world class mid that Juventus can’t live without, yet only one club, fucking ARSENAL, is legitimately interested in him? How does that work? I promise if Pogba was on the market thered be more than one club lining up for him.

No one in this market or climate would. Too risky and big of an investment from business pov.

As much as I wanted to see him stay here and become the best player in the world, I think it's far too late to be going for him. He wasted far too many of his prime years fucking around.
And his salary on top of that would put most off.
I wonder how he would work in a midfield of Author, Mcknnie and Pogba. Can't see we buying him though.

Even if I agreed with that statement (which I don't), how many times a season is Pogba at his best? 2-3 times?

last season Pogba had more assists in the premier league than Aouar did in the French league, in 9 fewer appearances. The year before he had 13 goals and 9 assists, ridiculous production for a mid. There’s a reason he’s so scrutinized; he’s set the bar so high.

His goal tally is inflated by the ridiculous number of penalties United receive.
Any way De Bruyne is much better than Pogba even at his best.

Exactly and he is doing so in a team while he is not really happy to stay in..
Aside for goals and assists he has this physique on top of it and can definitely jump for headers. He is a complete midfielder - Maybe even the most complete midfielder in the world (Boyka style but with midfield ;) )

And for the one who compared him to KDB - Despite different roles - I can understand why people would want KDB over Pogba but to want Aouar over Pogba means you either really dont like his personality or you never watched Pogba nor got interested in his stats..

Pogba is a fantastic offensive minded cm, preferably LCM. That will do his defensive work. Win a ton of headers. But can carry the ball forward without losing it, make crucial creative moves in the final third.

Since he left juve, pogba is BUTCHERED as a holding mid.

You guys like Ramsey now?

Roflmao

Watch this 352 with pogba on the lcm, rabiot cm and Mckenzie rcm

I give it 6 months and international media calls him a future Ballon d'or

I also dislike his stupid shit off the field. But you can NOT forget his immense quality and impact when played right

Just, just watch highlights of the big games in his stay.

He's ever present. He's always there when something happens

People forget how Pogba played for us and relate to his Man Utd adventure too much. Its unreasonable to think he could turn from hero to zero in seconds..

I dont know about Ballon D'or but He will definitely make our mid twice as good.

As for people talking about Aouar - half the talent, half the player, half the cost.. Yap he would help but its funny to even compare him to a player who carried our whole midfield.
When we got Pjanic and Higuain instead of Pogba - Yeah our attack improved but our mid... lets say Pjanic didnt do 50% of what Pogba has..
