Not sure he'd work in a classic 4-3-3 either. UTD doesnt have enough good CMs to consistently play 3 in the middle.
id rather play

Matic
Herrera Pogba

than what they currently field if i was Mou, especially now since Mata is their only 10 left. problem is, Fellaini is their only depth (unless Carrick could still play on a good enough level and Mou made Mata into a CM) and they have too many mediocre wingers that have to play, so we wont see that either.

He's being misused but he's certainly not failing at United. He's still among their best players. A better coach would get the better out of him.
that doesn't say much for a player with the potential Pogba had. he should've been the best player for an underwhelming United side if not make them challenge for titles

Many people in Tuz here are convinced that he's flopping at United but the reality is completely different. Pogba has a long career ahead so it's premature to come up with a verdict on his United stint.

Many people in Tuz here are convinced that he's flopping at United and that we made a great deal in offloading him to them thereby vindicating ourselves of his sale but the reality is completely different. Pogba has a long career ahead so it's premature to come up with a verdict on his United stint.
I'm convinced we made a shitty deal by offloading him, year later the market exploded and we probably could've received double that amount + our team would've been stronger with him here, but of course no one knew that the 78m eur we received would look funny as fuck a year later.

But he's not living up to expectations at ManUtd, at least so far, he should've taken the team to a new level, but instead they seem to have taken him down to their level.

Flopping?! He is one of the only ones who performs.. Yeah he could do better but again you need a normal game plan for that and not that idiot Mourinho as a coach.
Man Utd are probably the most annoying team in EPL right now because of this deep shit.. I was never a fan of Man Utd but at least they played football before that Bunker guy appointed as their coach... Hell he makes our go up and defend look like an all out attack tactic compare to his tactics

They broke a record to sign him. I doubt they'd do that if they considered him "a player for the future". Plus, he was already playing in a much better club than United, why would they want to give him an easy way? By the way, he's already 25yo. United is spending hundreds of millions every window to win, not to be a runner up or something. As things stands right now, they are more likely to lose the 2nd spot in BPL than to catch City. If Sevilla wasn't so miserable this season they would surely kick United out of the CL, now I'd say it's 50-50. Whom do you think they gonna blame if not the most expansive players?

I'd say he is flopping thus far, just by the fact he had been terrible every time he has faced one of the top 4 sides in EPL. It's the same reason I'd say Mourinho has been a flop thus far. Pogba doesn't put the effort in. He constantly doesn't track back, abdicates defensive and positional responsibilities. I recall this happening very occasionally here, but nowhere near as often. He's turned into a bit of a flat-track bully.

However, he could still easily turn it around and become one of the best CMs in football. Only time will tell. He has all the tools. We'll see if he's willing to put in the work required over the next few years.

We sold him a year early. Hindsight is 20/20 as they say, but it seems quite obvious now. We should have wrapped up Matuidi and Pjanic before selling him last summer and made United explode the transfer market for him. Unfortunately we did neither. It worked out alright in the end as the purchases we made from his sale got us back to the CL final, but it could have worked out even better if we waited a year.

So...people claim Higuain is a flop based of his price tag but don’t apply tgto same logic to pogba?

Hmmm.

Oh...if the market explodes even more this summer will people then say we should have waited 2 years to sell him? Where is the line drawn?

There's no line drawn for Beppe, after all he is thought to be a supernatural presence and is held to his own standards. And I think the footie market will hold onto the retard level it reached last summer for a while, it'd be very heard to outdo the summer 2017/winter 2018
