In his last season with us he wasn't consistent as well. What's strange with Pogba is that he was more consistent playing wise in his first years with us, didn't put the same numbers goals and assist wise, but he was a beast.

After that he's been an in game passenger but with decent assists and goals
id say he was bad in the opening months, then improved but was inconsistent (had both great and sub par perfmormances until February-March probably), but he absolutely destroyed post Bayern. if we didnt went out of the CL, with the form he, Morata, Dybala, Cuads and AS were in, im confident we would have atleast made the final
Pogba gets subbed for 36 year old Carrick while losing to relegation zone Newcastle. ::lol3::

United fans blaming us for coddling Pogba.

He was the best player in Serie A according to the stats

I think Allegri was getting the most out of him possible

He was inconsistent but let's not overstate it. He was still five times the player he is at Man U. He would play terribly and still manage to single-handedly win games for us with a moment of brilliance. That's the difference. When he's bad for Man U, he's bad full stop. When he's good for Man U he's only better than bad.

Really stupid move by him speaking in terms of pure footballing development. Money got the better of his head.

Under Max he progressed so much and became a world class player.

Under Mourinho he is suffering and forced to obey the anti footballing philosophy. Looks lost on that pitch.

The way he left and all that media horny bull$hit from him does not make me feel sorry for him. Just a shame, he has so much potential.

Mourinho has never won at St James' park so i don't know why everyone is so surprised at manure dropping points today :D

I don't understand why Mourinho is so obsessed with the 4231 when clearly it doesn't suit his best midfielder.
carrick is his best and most consistent midfielder

He would be the worlds best right now if he had stayed here. That last three months after the Bayern game he was out of this fucking world.
:agree:

He was on the cusp of fulfilling his potential to be the worlds best with us. Too bad money talks in the end. He won’t come anywhere close to being the player he once was at that club, under that coach.

Its a real shame. I defended him for years when people called him another Balo. Even with the social media bs he seemed to be focused and earned the respect of the guard here. Even though he left in a disrespectful way, I hope he comes back and Allegri can lead him back on the right track......
