Did you see Insigne's agent interview today?
Will that change anything? Agents only get as much leverage as a club gives them. I am all for selling at the right price, but this is just a bad deal if the numbers are true.

Then he doesn't sign a new contract, is potentially unhappy, and his value decreases until he does a Mkhitaryan. What do?
Three years Jaje. That's a lifetime in the life of an Lamar Odom wannabe. Of course he'd come around. There's no way he would have the patience to play out a three year contract without giving in if the club took a stance.

You are underestimating the ego this lamar wanna be has...and that he is backed up by a super greedy agent who thinks only about himself.

If we played hardball,,raiola would make sure we would pay with blood. I can imagine him bombarding us in the media, while flirting with every possible team and filling Pogba´s head with more bullshit than usual.

it would be an annoying ride....and in the end if we do not bend...it will always end in a bosman.

“the definitive transfer of the registration rights of the player Paul Labile Pogba for a consideration of €105m to be paid in two financial years.

“The consideration may increase of €5m on achieving given conditions in the course of the duration of the contract''

This is the most important part. We received a total of 105 million plus a further 5 million in bonuses should certain clauses be activated,

This week, Paul Pogba became the world’s most expensive player after he finalised his €105 million move from Juventus to Manchester United.
Along with the €105m fee, there are €5m in bonuses that United will have to pay based on future success.

Juventus will not receive the total fee, however, as Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola receives a huge fee for finalising the deal, believed to be €25m. In fact, it was Raiola’s fee that was reportedly holding up the deal.
A further €5m will go towards purchasing a house for Pogba, and then €2m will be split between three of the Frenchman’s first clubs, Le Harve, Torcy and Roissy-en-Brie.

As a result, the total figure that Juventus are left with is €73m, which could rise to €78m. Considering they bought Pogba for around €1m in 2012, they have made an outrageous profit on the 23-year-old.
In his last season in Turin, Pogba scored eight goals and assisted a further 12 in 35 Serie A appearances as Juventus secured their fifth consecutive league title
I don't think this is true.

This is the official statement:

"Turin, 9 August 2016 – Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that an agreement
has been finalized with Manchester United Football Club Limited for the definitive transfer
of the registration rights of the player Paul Labile Pogba for a consideration of € 105
million to be paid in two financial years. The consideration may increase of € 5 million on
achieving given conditions in the course of the duration of the contract.
The economic effect is positive for about € 72.6 million, net of solidarity subsidy and
auxiliary expenses."

So, what is solidarity subsidy and auxiliary expenses? The first is the amount of the total transfer fee that goes to his youth clubs. It is distributed as follows, according to FIFA rules: 5 % of the total fee is split up, so that clubs recieve 5 % of the these 5 % (0.25 % of the transfer fee) for each year he spend from his 12th to 15th year and 10 % of the 5 % (0.5 % of the transfer fee) for each year from his 16th to 23rd year.

But what is auxiliary expenses? Does this really cover money for Raiola? I would be pretty content that we wouldn't pay that much in agency fees...

What else could it be? It's clearly not taxes.

That buying a house isn't true surely?

Majority of GDS reporters are saying Raiola paid the fee, Di Marzio and Agresti did to.
Agresti says UTD paid fat fuck's fee.

Yes, but is that how much Manchester paid TOTAL?

If so, that means we paid Raiola's fee

These days agents have more power than the clubs, especially Raiola and co.

Image if he came forward and said Pogba isn't happy at Juve and wants to leave.

We'd end up with an unhappy player who we would keep for another year at most, how much clubs would offer next year knowing the situation? 50mln? 60mln?

And there's a reason why only MU were prepared to invest so much on him, Raiola's demands were too big even for Real and Barca.

Also this hands are tied bullshit has to stop, we are obviously happy to sell players if our price is met. Us fans might not like it, but the club doesn't seem to be bothered.

No doubt. However, good luck finding his replacement. Pjanić is great but not enough. Imo, there is no single cm/am available in the market that is remotely close to Pogba's quality. We lost Pirlo, Vidal and Pogba. One of the finest midfield trio in the world. Only Marchisio left. [even he is injured for a couple of months]
there is nobody available on the market, true, but that was kind of true for pogba as well (if not for Fatman Raiola and the world record fee).
it is funny how i watched a youtube video of some man-u fan on youtube claiming why they should not buy verratti (so obviously there were thoughts or links), thing is, pogba was just cheaper than verratti (and on top of that eager to come back to them).

if you wanted a player to boost your midfield there are a few, it is just that their clubs wont let them go or you probably would need to pay even more than 100m € to get them. everybody who knows me knows which player i mean. there are definitely players that can make us better compared to our time with pogba, but that is going to cost.

let's see the bright side of that deal. just imagine manchester did not buy pogba this season and somehow managed to get into the champions league next season. do you think they would offer that much for pogba if at all ? right now pogba is seen as their saviour and we all know that he is many things but a saviour to put pressure on.

real madrid does not need pogba, barca does not need pogba and since they don't need him they would not overspend so hard, it is a once in a lifetime scenario where we can sell manchesters messiah back to them for a very high fee.
