See our report from last year. You can find book values of every player in notes. Im not 100% certain on this but from my memory the last time I looked Pogba was valued at few hundred k. What were our expenses when we brough him? Players are valued at cost of purchase.
But he signed a new fat contract. Didn't we adjust his book value to get closer to his market value and write in some goodwill?

There's a few million in solidarity subsidy that have to go to his previous clubs. Because we had him from 19-23, it's only 3% of the total transfer fee. As a side note, we get 2% of any future transfer he makes because of that same solidarity mechanism, for the 4 years he was here from 19-23.
Cool. I hope Madrid buy him in 2 years.

Why didn't Pogba care about winning the champion's league?

That's the part I don't understand.

I always thought he was like C. Ronaldo. A player who could obviously make more money in China or Russia or wherever, but was truly obsessed with winning the greatest trophies available to a top player.

I always thought he had a top mentality.
Because his DNA is the very same as Inrahimovic's and ALL Raiola's players.Money and nothing more.He will play at a basement for money.Mercenary.

Goddamn, Paul. I gave you the benefit of the doubt throughout this entire saga. Didn't really care you went to Utd either. But your comments.. I don't know whether you're an imbecile or a cunt.

I read that we'll get 72m positive value due to a italian law which taxes 30% the gains.

Raiola and those 7.5 million have already been received from Juve for Pogba

The gain of the Bianconeri will be taxed by 30%

TURIN, August 9, 2016 - Mino Raiola will collect about 20-25 million fee for the transfer of Pogba at United. But the Italian-Dutch manager, since in 2012 began the experience of Paul at Juventus, has already earned about 7.5 million by virtue of bonuses, for contract, were guaranteed at the time of signing of renewals and an incentive for no transfer of star players transalpine. According to the financial statements, Raiola has received 500,000 euro in 2012 at the time of signature, 1.5 mln for permanence, 5 million for the renovation and another 500,000 Euros for the stay.

The gain being taxed The historical cost on the balance sheet of Pogba is around 2 million euro. Juventus then will mark the next budget a gain of one hundred million. Unfortunately, part of that money will end up in the treasuries that from 2012 the capital gains tax at a rate of 30%. The departure of Paul free about 11 million euro from the so-called "fire power" on the market: plus depreciation engagement. Pogba, in fact, Juventus won to approximately 9.5 million gross per season and had a depreciation of about 1.5 million per year.

Just look at our financial report:

AGREEMENT WITH MANCHESTER UNITED FOR THE
DEFINITIVE TRANSFER OF THE PLAYER PAUL POGBA
Turin, 9 August 2016
– Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that an
agreement
has been finalized with Manchester United Football
Club Limited for the definitive transfer of the registration rights of the player Paul Labile Pogba for a consideration of € 105
million to be paid in two financial years. The consideration may increase of € 5 million on
achieving given conditions in the course of the duration of the contract.
The economic effect is positive for about € 72.6 million, net of solidarity subsidy and

So no 110 m plus 10 mil in bonuses for us?

People seem to think things like capital gains taxes don't exist for footballers. They do. Just offset by losses. Which effect net positive.

Do people seriously think that Tottenham got to keep 100M for Gareth Bale? Or ManU got to keep all 90M of the Cronaldo fee?

Are you really that deluded?

We release all our financials, it's called transparency. Most other clubs don't do this, so you have no idea what the net positive is from transfers for them after agent fees, taxes, solidarity, etc.

Paul Pogba: "When I came back to Carrington, I felt like I just came home and I just went on holiday [to Juventus]."
Paul Pogba: "I always had this United feeling in my heart. That’s why I came back. I’m happy."
Wow.

wow! No wonder all the foreign billionaires (apart from some confused chinese) bought EPL teams. The Italian government is completely fucking us in the ass.

Are you sure this is correct? Sounds so retarded it's hard to believe. Shouldn't there be deductibles like previous years' losses. Sounds crazy to be taxed on a specific deal.

Jesus christ we got 105M and maybe 5M extra in bonus... They deducted the wages and so on to give the exact profit we made on him.. Not the cash we get on the bank accounts..

Thank god he had those 2 awesome months at the end of last season.. If he didn't he'd be worth 50M tops because he was pretty Shit over the course of last season...

Goodbye pogba.. May you come back one day from your holiday in a rainy shitty Manchester..

May you think of us when you get fucked over by the media there because they expect a daily hattrick because of your fee..

May you think of us when your stupid tricks fail and now are fatal because you don't have BBC behind you anymore but Dailey fucking blind and Co.

Hope you get along with that piece of Shit coach of yours and hope the crowd won't start calling for your head when you put in fellaini-like performances while costing them 110M

Your real friends will be in Italy hopefully building a team that actually wins the CL any time soon

I'd say it's a pretty safe bet there are capital gains taxes paid in the EPL on transfers too. It might not be the same percentage, but I highly doubt this doesn't exist there.

All gains are taxed everywhere. Only difference is they are booked above the tax line. We won't get taxed twice on the same gain

" I'm never going back there, this club got me disrespected when I left him last summer. [...] Sir Alex Ferguson laughed of the fact that I don't have the level for his club. [...] it is at this moment that I've decided that I'm never going back to Manchester; no amount of cash will make me go back. "
