Im an adman, and I have got to say, this is the most pathetic piece of advertising I have ever seen by a brand. Absolutely pathetic. No head or tail. No story. No direction. Even the context of first never follows makes absolutely no sense. Shocking such a big brand with such ad spend would do stuff like this. They are all humble and respectful to the club until they want to leave. Vidal was diehard type of player who seemed like he would stay for very long. Pogba kept the door open for moves but has been a dedicated professional past 4 years.


There is nothing to suggest Dybala will be any different after he would have been here as long as they were. Would have same reasons to move on most likely (in his case it's not just a potential move down the line, unlike them, one of those clubs, Barca, is his favourite club even), only difference is after few years we are likely to be financially covered enough to offer him kinda salaries they might offer. But other then that the appeal will still be lingering. Don't ascribe to him qualities or sentiments that we don't have proof for. It just leads to unnecessary disappointed later as we found out two summers in a row now.

More disappointed then bitter, disappointment at him and the club for not being able to continue the journey, especially when we have done so well improving the team, it's a frustrating step back to sell your best player, two summers in a row.

You weren't the only one... But that's life and maybe Pogba's departure is a blessing in disguise, we have seen his true colors now.

As for the management, remember they got us all those players in the first place and it was done on a tight budget. It's so obvious we're building a CL winning squad. We definitely are gonna be stronger than last season.

Absolutely. Its inevitable I think its somewhat frustating that this transfer in a way indicates that Utd are more appealing but what a poor decision from pogba. I class him as having weak mentality to make such a move something I always thought he did but I thought he could build on. Vidal's move as much as he was hated, I can understand though. Anyway Its Pogba's loss, we are stronger than last year and continue to get stronger. As for loyalties, you are absolutely right, we can and should expect some of our other top players move to the other clubs. Its the appeal or for those who are unambitious, the money. However this is why this season is so important, if we can push and win the CL, this will knock a lot of head sideways. Were moving in the right direction and its a matter of time.

I do agree we have a problem retaining our best players as of today but we are juve ffs not some provincial team. If we win cl at least once in the next three years and make it to semis the other two (or maybe win 2 CL in a row, why not?), we will be very appealing for anyone, and like you said, we might be able to offer competitive wages, etc.

Losing Pogba would make anyone question our management and its politics but they deserve the benefit of the doubt for all they have done.

Serie A is a pathetic league. Most countries in Asia pay for the rights to the EPL, La Liga, and even The Bundesliga in some cases before considering Serie A. A shitty brand and a horrible product, and that impacts us greatly. The best players want money and exposure, and those are things Serie A, in its current state, can't afford them. Gone are the days when guys like Maradona, Platini, and Van Basten came running to this league. I long for those days, and for Serie A to crush the rest of the continent, but until some competent heads take control of the federation, it is all but a pipe dream, and until then, ambitious players will leave the league and seek greener pastures.

As for us improving over last year, I'm not so sure. We won the double last year, and reached the CL Final in 2015. Some would even argue that 2015 was a better/more rewarding season overall. At this point, and assuming Pogba leaves, the squad is weaker, and even if we win Serie A (which isn't much of an achievement these days tbh), the true benchmark of our progress lies in the CL.
