adidas really fucked up with this ad. they already pissed juve fans with it and if he end up staying (I doubt) they'll also piss off united fans. how can they be this stupid?

I rather see him going to united and fail than to madrid or barca and have a good chance to win cl
Of course it would suck to see that, but at least its a proper football move. This move to United is EVERYTHING I hate about modern football. Makes us look even worse too, that he leaves one of the top club teams in the world, to go to a mediocre PL team contesting the EL.

haha yeah, but my dad doesnt rate Pogba so highly. He gets mad at him because he's all fireworks and show but his brilliance is quite rare for him. He has a point though. He says like "if you do those fancy tricks with ball in the game, then dont fucking lose it, and if you lose it, dont do those dances". straightforward guy haha

Pogba is a great player and will play well at Manchester but playing just "well" won't cut it for the fans. They will watch every one of his moves given the price.

Even among Man U fans, there is a lot of debate as to whether he is worth what they are paying. I predict the following. He leaves a club where all the fans love him and appreciate him to a club which now expect him to play like Messi or Ronaldo. Watch the fans turn on him mid way through the season. He will start to get down and start missing Juve.
I bet Napoli fans are saying the same thing about Higuain,

Selling Pogba means that in the next 3years they will also sell Dybala to Barcellona.
This management doesn't have the backbone to refuse a transfer.
The story "We won't sell unless the player ask for it" makes me crazy!!!
Our appeal is growing by each passing day. Last year, we rejected 80M offers. This year, we sold a player who we bought for free for over 100M. Going forward, who knows ? We might even have the strength to reject massive offers and keep our best players by offering them big wages.

Ultimately its all tied to finances and achievements on a sporting level particularly in the CL. Granted every player dreams of playing for a Madrid or a Barca but we're slowly creating a platform where even our best players would think twice about joining another side. We havent reached the absolute pinnacle but we're working hard to get there.

Hopefully the state of the league improves in the meantime too.

Hmm I wouldn't be so sure. Pogba was a special case and from day 1 we knew he was a goner. Greedy player with a greedy agent and ex club with lots of money.

Dybala seems different, he's humble, doesn't look like the greedy type and doesn't have raiola by his side. He acknowledges the financial effort we made to get him
You also have to take in consideration that in three or four years we might be able to close the financial gap between us and richer clubs. We are not there yet but we are not far off.
