@zizinho, Bale's wage is £300K gross a week.

When the exchange rates were higher back then , his wage amounted to €10M+ net annually. Which means he's still getting the same wage regardless of exchange rates. He'll soon a new contract which will give him a much higher wage btw.

Why I believe United are/will give that kind of wages to Pogba is because of his marketability. He's in the same tier as Neymar and Bale as far as popularity is concerned. These players command superstar wages and Pogba is on his way to become one if not already is one.

It says here 256k before taxes, which is roughly 12.3m GPB per year, or 14.6m Euros.

Gareth Bale also signed a 6 year deal with Real madrid couple of years ago and his salary is around £250,000 a week but that is before tax.

Multiple sites say it's £300K a week. It's gross of course but don't use today's exchange rates. Pound value was much higher few years ago.

Common dude , you can't seriously believe Pogba isn't leaving for the salary ?
Can you imagine if he's not? Wha a slap in the face.

Wall.

We could have upgraded our attack and kept Pogba imo
Nope, the guy wants out because of unknown reasons. maybe money, maybe fame..maybe he got fukin bored of winning serie A.

It doesnt matter,, the point is that his mind was well far from juve.

Indeed, I dont care what anyone says, right now this is clear downgrade, no amount of sugarcoating will change that. We were supposed to add Pjanic to improve a midfield that lacked his type, not replace Pogba who Pjanic is nowhere close to.
You are overreacting because one of your favs is going out. The fact is that we dont know what we will be missing until 2 or 3 years pass. Right now, Pogba is good as hell, undeniable, but also very inconsistent and inmature.

His performances are a far call from the ones of Tevez and Vidal on his prime. Obvs, they were more mature players, but RIGHT NOW we are lising a great by hyped man.. nothing more. Time will tell.

Pjanic, o the other hand, is a very serious, down to earth, proffesional who pulls incredible assist numbers constantly...and has a golden free kick (something that pogba can only dream right now).
The guy is not as "hype" or as "cool" as Pogba... but im pretty sure his impact will be felt by the whole team.
Feck, even guys at red cafe are kind of envious of us getting Pjanic..while at the same time are a worried about the 120 mils paid for Pogba. Right now, they will be partying and having fun..but the truth is that there are huge

Yup.

We definitely won't drop off in quality right now imo, not with the guys coming in this summer, but the future that could've been...

Still not that sad, mainly because I knew this was coming for years now.

Stop crying, you pussy. If you're surprised he's leaving, you should get your head out of your ass. We all knew he was going to leave. If he goes to United, it just shows that some of us were right, when we said he's nothing but a ghettoboy who can't handle his money.

At least I don't have to look at his stupid dabbing and off field antics.
And his uglyass choices in clothing.
Please this. Some here are talking like if we lost prime del piero or Zidane. The pussyness is umbearable.

We dont even know what Pogba´s prime will be... but our future is now...and right now we need to replace him, and this for sure is doable. Not directly with another player, because he is unique in some aspects...but we can come out stronger from this if we move our cards right.

What is really sad is his ghetto attitude. His lust for power and selfproclaiming is insane. For a guy of his age and for the privileges he had here.. is plain wrong.
We all know serie A is not top, but he could very well have made a monetary sacrifice to have some shots here and improve his skills...so when he was on his prime he could have chosen a different destination.

But no.

Eaxctly.

Everything looks good in a best case scenario. Pogba is leaving a place where he was taken care of to a pressure cooker hellhole with 2 gigantic egos who will most certainly clash. He is not mature enough imo skill is there, mental strength not there yet
Just immature imo
Pirlo was soft and physically weak, pogba was very skilled but his direct impact is seen mostly in scoring, which we will see also from pjanic in deadball situation. Pjanic is also a better assist man, as for the physicality I'm pretty sure we are getting someone
Boy, you are on a roll.
1000% Agree on all this.

1- yes, he is proving to be an inmature lad, sacrificing his development for tons of money, limelight and sponsors. At his age is plain idiotic..taking in consideration that he will get this in one way or another during his long career.

that's your opinion.

For me Pjanic easily replaces 70% of Pogba and that's good enough for me.
Higuain, Alves and whoever's gonna be the new CM will take care of the other 30%.

And not even that 30%. Higuain alone will win us so many games , that if we sign the right players, we can be even more dangerous than when we had tevez and our MVP. Thats how terrific our team can be.

Some people might. And here's why.

I understand for normal people like me why it would be difficult to to turn down 3x higher salary, because it could change our lives. But what I don't understand is how does it matter if you earn $150,000 a week, or $400,000 a week, your lifestyle and standard of living is not going to be any different at all!
I would much rather earn $150,000 a week at a place where I can win more stuff than $400,000 a week because let's face it, what is it that I can't buy if I earn $150,000 a week that I can buy if I earn $400,000 a week?

There's no difference in lifestyle. I'll eat the same, live in a similar house, have similar holidays, drive the same cars and even $#@! the same women.
I never understand footballers or any celebrities at that high level of earning who switch jobs for little more money since from an economics perspective, your lifestyle's improvements start to show diminishing returns.

There's nothing that Buffon won't enjoy or be able to afford that let's say someone like Messi or Ronaldo would be able to afford. After you earn around $70-80,000 a week, it's just numbers and has no impact on your standard of living when it starts going up from there.

Maybe it's just me?
Not, its not only you and you are 100% right. But it seems that the more money u get, the more you want. Thats why humanity is so fuked up.
