I said that pogba had 1 standout game, and that was against City, didnt i ? Or cant you remember what you quoted me on 5 minutes ago.

Pogba is a player carried by an amazing midfield. In the CL, he never carried the team except versus City
yeah, he will score or assist, like i said. Like that glorified tap in vs Bayern, excellent movement right there. Won a noncalled penalty and was fouled with barcelona's second goal, ye.

If we had missed vidal against madrid, but had pogba, our chances would have been dramatically lower to proceed.

We miss vidal more, then we have missed Pogba. this season has shown that quite often.
Yes you said he had one standout game, but you ignore the other games in which he contributed to us proceeding. You seem to think goals and assists are irrelevant, otherwise you wouldn't state such things. Pogba directly contributed to us passing the group in 2015 and directly contributed to us passing the semifinal. He was our best mid in CL this season and more important than Vidal in CL last season. Vidal was only great vs Madrid and only defensively, and you make it seem like he carried us to the final

Downgrade in every way?
They have a bigger and better stadium. They have more supporters and worldwide following only second to Madrid and Barca. They pay equally well, and are in a more glamorous league than us. There is a reason the Adidas deal with United is so much higher than either us or Madrid. Their manager is much more high profile in the football world than ours. Not saying better, but more high profile.
Man U will be in the CL next season(not this season). There's no way they don't finish in the top 4 at least with the squad they have.
And there's a certain ego and aura that comes from being the most expensive player in the world. That's something only Man U can afford right now as Madrid couldn't come up with the funds...
Also, you have to realize, he has a special relationship with Manchester. He still has friends there and he has said that it is his first family in a recent interview.
This post.

Its ok. Let him go.

He is not worth 120 mils.

At least not in the field. If he wants money then fine. Lets see how this turn out for him.

my point is, right now if we get herrera it doesnt weaken at all. it just loses its potential to grow
YES IT FRIGGING DOES BECAUSE HERRERA ISNT HALF THE PLAYER POGBA IS.

And I say this as someone who allways advocated for us signing Herrera past years, solely because I like all around complete fighter types, like him, Allan Vidal, that add edge and aggression to a midfield. But its a STYLE, he is nowhere the quality of Pogba, or the Vidal we compare him to, come the fuck on. You gonna pretend you watched him so much and allways thought he was great? Not just saying this nonsense because we are losing Pogba and this is your way of coping with it, namedropping a player everyone is hot for randomly this past weeks. But atleast they are sane, you are bipolar crazy enough to suggest the amazingly world class 23 year old we are about to sell for insane world record fee, isnt weakening our midfield if we sign Hector Herrera? Based on friggin WHAT?

Matic might be gettable, but why would Rakitic leave Barca unless he's unwanted? He's been their replacement for Xavi and there is no way they would sell.
Why do you even bother? It's not what you say that's annoying me, it's just that you are so bad at being a troll that it hurts. Why are you wasting your time talking about Matic when you can gloat about Pogba joining your team? Say something clever or GTFO!

The arguments are pointless.

Alen saying he's worth way more than 120 mil is as silly as people saying he isn't a top player who put in big performances for us in big matches.

He is a world class midfielder, just missing the consistency and willingness to take over, that would be required for him to become the best midfielder in football. If he doesn't improve is he worth 120 mil. Not at all. But he's likely to improve and this deal is a win for us and for whoever gets him.

Only a retard would say we are getting fucked here, or that the team who buys him is getting fucked.

The only hilarious bit of the whole thing is that Manchester United might be buying back a player they lost for free 4 years ago for 110-120 mil + Bonus + Raiola fee. That's hilarious.

Herrera is probably close to pre-Juve/1st year at Juve Vidal.

Doesn't at all mean he will develop to the heights that Juventus Vidal did, but it's a possibility. :p

Osman, i am extremely pissed and disappointed.

he said, he wanted silverware. Instead, he's apparently all money cash ho's. I really didnt expect this of him.

Pogba is a superior player over Herrera, no question about that. But Pogba takes from the team to perform, while herrera adds alot. Since the additions we got, i'm seeing it as a similar midfield, unless the herrera vs vidal comparison is far off.

I had sporting reason in mind when I was talking about it being a downgrade. Number of fans, appeal and money go hand in hand, they have that going for them, true. They have a better league, but playing for a legit contender for CL is better if the two are exclusive to the other. If the two clubs had the same sporting level or at least if it was similar then choosing the more high profile coach makes sense otherwise going for the better team is more logical in my mind.

I wouldn't be so sure about Utd getting CL. I mean they could, but they're shit.

Lol. Why bother going undercover here its not fkin RAWK they dont really care if you are a united fan just dont troll...or do this james bond shit.

It definitely is a downgrade in a lot of ways even if he likes the city/the league better and gets paid more, especially in terms of team ability at least for the foreseeable future. A poster earlier said something to me that i hadn't considered, Pogba isn't the finished article and Mourinho isn't exactly known for bringing out the potential in players especially midfielders. And Pogba may even stop working hard as a player who knows.

You havent even watched him and going on what others say arent you? And this is the player you say wouldnt be weakening for us when we sell one of the most complete and skilled midfielders in long long time?

Be pissed, but stop being a reactive bipolarish moron, it seems to be your coping mechanism, just stop, you have spouted so much hyperbole in past pages to last a friggin life time.

Prime Vidal was the best b2b mid in the World

And consistent as $#@!. Unlike Pogba who can frustrate you for 4 games in a row and look disinterested.
This.

I kind of despise the alcoholic indio now, but prime vidal was heads and shoulders way better than pogba has ever been.

Pogba is more flair and fancy and with higher ceiling maybe, but damn, vidal in his 2nd season here was fuking unstoppable, and got us out of shid so many times, being a defensive minded midfielder. He was grinta personified.

Ill never forget his performance at chelsea when he was injured and carried on and scored. Thats shid you dont see everyday,
