You must understand that 145 is not his price. It's inflated by juventus unwillingness to sell, and Manchester persistence to buy. This high transfer amount is a freak case and I'm most certain it wouldn't present itself in the future. This is not his true value, and if the rumour speaks the truth, then we win big time by this transfer.

Not really. If you think about shirt sales, then it doesn't work like that. What Madrid said with Ronaldo was a pr stunt to justifice his price. He will undoubtedly bring in some value to the club, but there is absolutely no guarantee that they will recoup the transfer sum at all.
