Why are we a 'selling club' if we've decided to cash in on someone we signed for free for a world record €120m fee?

People here really are troubled. There's not a player in the world worth that much money so if someone is willing to pay us that then let them.

Cheers to being a 'selling' club
Barcelona got Messi for free as well, that argument is flawed. We're a selling club because we cannot keep hold of our star players, which has calm down to a number of reasons.

120mil is a stupid offer to refuse.

You just illustrated exactly why Juventus isn't a selling club. We don't sell off all our top players every single season. Never have, never will. We sell if the offer is right and we feel we can utilize those funds in order to improve the team further.

And  at people saying Dybala will now leave next year.
We have discussed this PI. And we were on opposite sides of that argument. Look at how it's ending up. Juve and player both choosing the money. I guess we are both disappointed but this reaffirms our status as a club that puts a price on its players no matter who they are.

People should be happy. Pogba is not worth 120m and knowing our management, we'll spend the money wisely over the next few seasons and become even stronger.
$#@!ty attitude. Exactly what they harvest in the EPL these days

Seriously, Real Madrid, i'd be game. I get that. He'd be short sighted and a massive idiot in our opinion, but i'd get that.

United ? No, go die in a fire on which i'm pissing with kerosine
Its weird really. Even if manu can be back on tracj in 3 or 2 years...it is still a guess, while we have facts in Juventus, not hopes.

This move is all about the paycheck and Fat raiola. I have no doubt.

People acting as if Pogba is bigger than the club is pathetic. Hope he stays, but if he doesnt its not the end of the world. Move on and if the money is invested correctly we can end with a better team. People melting down seems to me is more a pride thing than anything. Selling a player for a record fee doesnt make you the "udinese of europe". The fact that there is only one team willing to pay that amount is a clear indication that they will overpay if the transfer is made. Madrid, who are the kings of overpaying, dont even think that Pogba is worth that much ffs. If pogba wants to leave lets take advantage of the team desperate to land him. My two cents.
I think the board simply deemd him dispensable. yeah we all know how big he can be sometimes... but he also has flaws. How many times we were not mad at him because of his whiny nature and lack of concnetration/commitment.

Pogba still is raw and we all know that. The board seems to believe they can improve the team with his sale...we will have to see that.

But this kind of forced sales cannot continue if we seriously are aiming for the top...because, the better we do..the faster teams will come to santch our best players.

#10 for 1 year

What have we done
This is what really makes me cringe.
At least tevez fought like a warrior with the 10 at his back, grabbing serie a by the balls. Now, Pogba asks for it...and one year later ditches it irresponsibly. What a insult to Juve to be honest.

Real sold Ozil because they believed he was no needed anymore, because they signed Bale I believe. Kroos was sold to Real, but Barcelona and Real are known to step above the rest. Man Utd sold Di Maria because again he was not needed.

We're selling Pogba, when he's arguablly our most important player, it's not the same, and Man Utd are no Barca and Real. The fact of the matter we've become a selling team it was made clear when we sold Vidal to Bayern last year. I've been saying for years that it was important to have a strong Serie A and I warned that our best players wouldn't consider winning the league enough to win anymore. I think the damage has already been done to be honest, I was hoping we would take the Bayern model and stubbornly refuse any bids until we become consistent enough in the CL, but I guess not. Even if we do get "good replacements" they'll just be sold when they turn out to be good enough. Expect Dybala to follow in a couple of years
juve have done well to keep our key players.the problem is about italy situation at this current time and the Serie A is on a down swing.top players don't want to play a bring League like Serie A and We cannot afford them with the way others spend due to economy and investment by oil tycoons and others

I know. But so many delusional fans thinking we're a holy grail or something. We sold Vidal too. We sold Tevez. Players also wanna leave at some point (not all obviously). But it's not something to laugh at, which many members did, and now we might actually sell. Don't get me wrong... hell, we might even keep him, who knows with this fucking media. But yeah, I still believe we'll sell him soon enough.

Nah... Dybala is gonna stay for many, many years here.

If Pogba doesn't leave this summer, he's gone next. And though I'd like another year with him here, having to listen to all this nonsense again next summer almost makes me prefer selling him for a world record fee now. It's amusing for a time, but it sure gets irritating when it goes on and on and on.

Dybala may not stay for 10 years, but I'd bet my socks he's here for another 3-4 years minimum. I've said it before, that I never felt Pogba was the guy here, that management meant to build the team around him. I think they knew from the start that they were on borrowed time... With Dybala however, they have made it pretty clear that he is a player they want to build this team around for the post Gigi era, that they will hold on tight to him.

If they knew hey we're on borrowed time with him, should have never given him the #10. It's becoming s joke we can't hold on to our tens. Tevez for two years, Pogba for one. Fuck that.

I have no problem with this. And I seriously doubt it's ever going to lead to us having fire-sales of half our starters over a couple years, like some are suggesting.

Disappointing to lose Pogba (if he goes :D ), but I'm super excited to see what this team looks like post-mercato.

He asked for it. I don't mind an interim 10 for a year.

Dybala should be our 10, though 21 works as well I suppose. I'd like Pjanic as 21 and Dybala as 10.

yeh, this is the truth to be honest. he has never shown true commitment and sincereness to stay.

Dybala and him ahs very different vibes. Dybala seems to be way more down to earth.

Still , we need to see how the club will react when inevitable barcelona comes to sign dybala to replace messi...because oh yeah thats so coming.

Paul still follows us on Twitter

We're fine!
Why he should unfollow us remember me?.

He is ending his saga with us in a peaceful ways and only has good memories from Juve.

I would not unfollow if i was him tbh.

 butthurt is stronk.
Therein lies the difference. Unlike you after I vented (this forum has some purpose afterall) I can move on and look forward to the upcoming season. No point in brooding about this. What's done is done and I hope that in due time we'll abandon this ridiculous policy of listening to our players wishes. While I expect you'll continue your crusade. :)
