Some thoughts on the situation:

a)The wages on offer and the transfer fee being the level they're at, its something Juve have to consider very seriously. We are going to lose a very commercial player and while we may replace him with a Higuain who is decisive, we will be replacing him with a player who isn't going to be selling shirts the way Pogba does.

b) Player will. It gives us closure and clarity when the player steps up to the plate and says he wants to make a move. For a champion like Pogba, and that stance is irrespective of whether he stays or goes, it surprises me that he is open to play in the Europa. His family has already given an insight into their thought process by mentioning the draw of a 'better league'. And their cards are on the table IMO.

c)United sadly are putting him on a pedestal where he seems like he is bigger than the club. Going to any length to get him. Juve doesn't ever take that stance, and I can back them on that. If the player wants out, you take the money and you move with that, and build from there. The apprehension is split on two levels: the projection we are giving the players on the inside, that everyone has a price. And just as importantly, we are going to be revolutionising the team for the second time in two seasons. Think about it, Pogba, Cuadrado and Morata all gone in one window. Thats something that would happen to BvB not Juve. Keep in mind, theres another one upcoming mini one in a couple of years. Frankly, the optimal situation is, to sell Pogba at that point when the mini clear out and retirements happen. At this point, its all about showing Europe that we are a top 4 club and we are here to stay. Its where we belong.

If they give us 120 mil we should sell and bring Higuain (yes, I am a sucker for this guy).Let's replace one choker ( everyone is a choker nowadays obviously) in CL with another choker in CL but the second one will bang more goals in Seria A. Then sell Zaza and Pereyra and buy another WC player (where will find him ? - ask Marotta, the guy knows for sure). And that is it. Do it fast, I say.

We need to learn to sell our cast offs before we sell our best players. Sick of this now, too much quality fucked off over the years, top clubs who aim for the CL don't do this. I'm the biggest Marotta (and Paratici) Stan there is, but the way we seem to just bend over and let these players leave us without putting up a fight or try to convince them of our project annoys me.

I want to spark a debate here.

Vidal or Pogba? Who has been more vital to our recent success?

I would say Vidal easily tbh. And at least he went to a better team that can win cl instead of this stupass sideways step from Paul

His move to a transitional United side suggests otherwise. Pure mercenary move.

Can't believe Vidal got so much unwarranted bashing :sergio:
It's not even a sidestep. It's a clear step down based on the last 3-4 years. ManU has finished 7th, 4th, 5th the last 3 years. They got knocked into the Europa League this past year by Wolfsburg and PSV. So basically, they went no European football at all in 14-15, to getting knocked out of the easiest group in CL this past year, to Europa this year.

Clear step down. Only thing United has is more money. It's a joke of a move by a player who talks about winning Ballon d'Or and CL. And no, United is not closer to winning the CL. Only delusional fucktards think that.

Vidal was clearly more vital to our recent success. It's not even close. Pogba showed in the last 2-3 months of this season that he could be the best midfielder in football, but he needs to become much more consistent to be anywhere near Vidal's level of 2012-2014.

does that mean vidal and pirlo were mercenaries as well for joining juve instead of going to CL playing clubs?

Pirlo was past his prime

Vidal wasnt in his prime yet when he joined us and got nowhere near the hype which Pogba gets at 23 since he's one of the best in his position.

Why is everyone assuming he is already gone? Didn't his agent, the fat prick, come out and say all this is media BS? Perhaps this is the media's attempt at trolling us after Joker trolled the entire Interwebz with Massimo De Culo.

No one knows. And it's irrelevant really. No one should be insulting the guy. Nor should they if he does leave, unless he says a lot of unfortunate shit about Juventus. I doubt he will.

As I said, if he leaves to ManU and the overrated league, I hope he spends the next few years of his prime in the Europa. I wish him great individual success, but I hope ManU is terrible under that cunt Mourinho.

He is definitely a mercenary.
Not a single time he's committed his future to Juventus openly. Not a single time. Interviews might be deceiving alright but at least you could say its half true.

Vidal who left for Bayern says he still dearly misses Juve.

There's going to some epic reactions here when Pogba calls United a bigger club once he joins them. Can't wait :D

I'm not the biggest marotta fan but in this case really the best thing to do is to sell him if he indeed wants out, i will kill myself if i have to put up with a sulking Frenchman and that fat bastid raiolas antics, plus we are getting a record fee in the process. I know it sounds cliche, but really if this guy chooses EL over contending for CL at age 23 i don't want him
