I know I'm a newbie but please stop lol

Ozil - overrated?
I'm guessing you're going to tell me Hamsik > Ozil, or maybe Pjanic?
And, Dybala > Aguero etc?

And *insert other player* > Eden Hazard?
Steady now.

Buffon and Juventus' back four I'd agree, they're WORLD class. And Juve have good DMs, but it's not like the EPL have awful DMs, Schneiderlin, Kante, Matic, Coquelin etc are not awful either.

Your best striker is Higuain who is not on Aguero's level.

Sure, United will find it tough to get top 4 but It's Jose Mourinho, I'm sure he can do something. Also, our summer is not finished. We've made 3 decent signings, hope to make Pogba the fourth and more will follow after August when we have a clear out. Clearly, Mourinho can still attract good players, lots of good rumours with players such as Varane, Matuidi and so on.

The EPL is not awful or rubbish or crap as you make it out to be. It has regressed sure, but I think it'll change now. Each squad is rebuilding, and top managers ARE coming in. Guardiola, Conte, Pochetinno and so on are top managers.

Again im just saying IF POGBA leaves, im trying to rationalise it :)

I'm only responding to posts that I was tagged in. You tagged me. Sorry if I offended anyone. I'm just as curious about the Pogba deal as anyone.
Manchester city is by far and away the most expensive collection of players in the EPL

and we beat that twice while in crisis

Basically, Paddy Crerand has a habit of 'leaking' news about the club - he can't seem to keep his mouth shut. Here is him leaking news about Michael Carrick signing a one year extension. On or before May 30 2016.

United officially confirmed Carrick's one year extension on? 9 June 2016.

http://www.manutd.com/en/News-And-F...w-one-year-contract-at-manchester-united.aspx

He's basically clued up on everything that happens inside United and leaks insider club info before it happens.

Him saying he knows the fourth signing, as basically Pogba, on the 5th of July, when Di Marzio reported the Pogba deal around that time anyway shows he could be on to something. I'd bet that it pretty much confirms it - but again, we cannot be sure :)

Pjanic no but Hamsik is defo better than Ozill, and not at the moment but theres a goid chance Dybala will end up becoming a more explosive and dominant version of Aguero with a better career. Basically what Aguero woulda been if he didnt suffer injuries.
most of the footballing world would literally laugh at a hamsik > ozil, aka top assists maker in europe over the past 5-6 seasons, world cup winning german no.10 real madrid man v hamsik who is at napoli.
but besides, dybala is a great talent, but long long long distance between him and even aguero at his age.

aguero aged 20 scored 27 goals in a season for atletico.
dybala is turning 23 in november, has 23 goals this season

at the moment yes, but take pogba out - and judging by city's heavy moves in the transfer market, do u still feel that the case? (honest q)

In all seriousness though don't think any of us have a clue if it's happening.

Doubt info about a rejected wage offer would be legit at all though. Not sure why he'd be so eager to fuck off from Juve this season particularly. When we've just made some major moves and improved our team. Surely using any form of logic whatsoever, you'd stay for another season have a crack at the CL THEN move on.

Wow, sorry if I offended you. Trust me, I have a lot of respect for Juve / Serie A and I did not at all intend this to be a condescending post.

Leicester City winning the league is not like Carpi. The Premier League follows a socialist model where all the clubs are distributed money from the massive TV deals. This allows even 'small' clubs to compete with the big clubs and buy top players. Watford, I'm sure you recall rejected a 40million pound bid for Odeon Ighalo. This is partly a reason why teams like Leicester can win the league. The EPL is going to improve I think, the likes of Mourinho, Guardiola, Mazzari, Conte, Pochetinno, alongside Klopp and old timers Wenger will make the EPL more of a tactical, continental league. Therefore, your concerns about the kick and rush nature of the EPL will no doubt diminish! I believe the EPL is not kick and rush - look at Arsenal - very technical football. However, there are teams who play that way.

I don't wish to sound rude, but the EPL is full of some of the best players in the world and that is a fact. Juventus is a great team however, don't get me wrong. My point was, moving to Old Trafford is not absolutely inconcievable move for Pogba, it's not like he is moving off to play with Tranmere Rovers, or Doncaster or Chievo or some other u team. Sure, Juve's squad is terrific and man for man better than United, however, I think you are doing football a great disservice to think Pogba wouldn't want to play against Eden Hazard, Sergio Aguero, Zlatan, Martial, Ozil, Alexis Sanchez, Diego Costa, Lukaku, Harry Kane, Giroud, Aaron Ramsey, Kevin De Bruyne, Juan Mata, Silva, Christian Erikssen (and so on).

On 'paper' United do not have the worst team on earth you know.
De Gea, Smalling, Shaw, Martial, Rashford, Mkhitaryan, Zlatan, Rooney, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Bailly, Darmian, Schneiderlin are not awful, useless players And, Mourinho is surely looking at bringing in replacements.

Sure, they are not as good as Juve's team, but you can't say they are not decent. In terms of pure talent, Anthony Martial just won the finest young player of the year award, for example. But I guess he is utter mediocre/average/bang ordinary too!

doesn't this kind of guarantee pogba to united? where would juventus be getting all that money from but for pogba's sale? GENUINE q, not trying to offend!

Hamsik last 3 seasons - 28 goals, 36 assists
Ozil last 3 seasons - 20 goals, 43 assists

it has to be said that Hamsik was also playing as a CM this season. and pulled these numbers in the more defensive and closed down league

@PolaBear2637 Yes. Crerand spoke with Pogba twice during his last weeks and he told him that he would stay. Then went AWOL before leaving.

Lest we forget, Pogba didn't want to leave. He told Paddy Crerand the very same thing on numerous occasions.
