:agree:

People are crazy to not want Higuain here. He'd tear it up. Of course, there's less than a snowball's chance in hell we get him, but it'd be the best signing we could possibly make this summer. Dybala-Higuain up front would annihilate Serie A and the CL.

Yes, people. We managed to resurrect Tevez's CL career, a place he hadn't scored n 5 years, so why the heck couldn't we do it with Higuain, an even more prolific player.

Also. People are overrating Griezmann massively because of the Euros. He's a very good player, but 3x better than Higuain. Or when Seven was saying he was better than Messi and Ronaldo. C'mon. :sergio:

That's not what I was saying. I was saying that, right now, in the form he's in, he's better. He had a better tournament than Ronaldo. Messi was okay at the Copa, but Argentina had it easy anyway. Over the course of an entire season there are many things that justify the fact he scored less than Ronaldo. Most important bit being that he plays for Atletico and Ronaldo plays for Real. Obviously that is going to matter.

In the end though:
- Ronaldo scored 48 goals this season for Real Madrid
- Ronaldo won the Champions League
- Ronaldo won Euro 2016

If you have to pick a player and say he's been the best this season, Ronaldo seems as good a choice as any.

I still worry about our financial ability though... there's still 200 million euro gap there... and there are these usual all kind of depressing factors from italian football.
Selling Pogba for whatever amount is not a shortcut to close the gap. It's the total turnover of the team which can be reached by playing CL semi finals and finals repetitively, by having marketable players like in this case Pogba. Which is why we should continue to refuse offers as long as he is happy with us and our projects

I just love that Man U fans think they are closer to a CL than we are. How can you be that ignorant :D? We are superior to them in every position on the pitch.
Things were quite similar when RotCafe compared two squads during Vidal saga, they had money, they had famous new coach, they had a project, they had an unshakable belief of winning Premier League upcoming season.
Most of them decided there is not that much of a quality gap between two squads, some even concluded they have more depth in midfield...

We reached CL final, they ended up 4th place in league

It's mind-boggling. I mean Bayern got Vidal from us last year, but I don't remember their fans talking shit about Juve, at all. On the contrary, they treated us like one of the biggest clubs in the world. Like genuinely and not only because they bought Vidal and thought a little consolation is due.
But every time an English team is involved, be it arsenal, city or manure, they act like they're so high and mighty and Juve is such a tiny little provincial club that it has absolutely no other choice but to bend over. And the player himself must be mad to refuse them!!!! :lol2: It's so stupid that you can't help but let yourself be amused by this strange kind of retardation.
Without big money, no player in their right mind would choose to live and work in that miserable shithole. They believe their own fucked up media and hype too much.

Btw i think mourinho is done as a WC coach, watch him do worse than van gaal
I agree with this notion too. I think they are really going to struggle to crack the top 4 this season. Zlatan? Mkhitaryan? Some random 18 year old CB (or whatever age he is) Do they think thats going to be enough, to sustain a title challenge/crack the top 4? They still have the same pathetic defence and midfield as before.

There's no doubt Mourinho is past his prime but i still think he will get them to win a league title in his tenure before the usual implosion in his 3rd season. That said, i dont think they'll win it next year but i do think they'll make top 4.

Mourinho is still a good coach but he has become a bit outdated and other managers have kept on improving. In my view Premier League manager rankings are.

1. Conte
2. Pep
3. Pochettino
4. Ranieri
5. Mourinho

Koeman, Bilic, Klopp and even Guidolin are also breathing down his neck.

City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool, Leicester (yes, dont write them off)... Yanited? Not an easy task IMO. I wish there was a way none of them made the top 4. I'd prefer

1. Leicester 2. West Brom 3. Burnley 4. Middlesborough

Conte over Pep ? I dont like Pep but there's no way i'd put Conte over him. I agree with Pochettino. Great manager.

Fuck Pep. Current Conte is a better manager than Mourinho tho IMO. Its going to be extremely difficult for Mou IMO, I can see why they really want a dominating midfielder who can do it all like Pogba, they lack so much in that department (and their defence)

I think Conte will be absolutely brilliant there but you're right I'm basing this on an assumption rather than achievements so can easily agree with them being the other way around.

Suarez and Ronaldo are guaranteed top 3... and it will be between Griezmann and Messi for the last spot.

Griezmann is hurt by the fact his teams did not win anything this year.
He deserves it. This is the guy that carried them through the Primera and CL season with his goals, and continued to do so at the euro. I lost count of many goals did he score in all those 1-0 and 2-1 wins by Atletico. Or the goals vs Bayern and Barca that are possibly the clutchest goals this season. His stats arent as pumped up as the 3 guys you mentioned (they arent mediocre either), but his goals and assists were more important for his team. CL final, Euro final and challenging Barca and Real for the Primera up until last 2 games while carrying your teams offense is deserving of finishing right behind Ronaldo. Suarez 3rd because of his monster season. Messi had a better Copa but the incredible season by Suarez still gives him the edge

Zlatan alone is enough to win the league, if Mourinho sets the team up as he knows at the back. Conte and Fagdiola will be a huge challenge though

Really, this current Man United is like a parody version of Madrid. That Woodward clown thinks bringing in 'names' will solve everything. Man U were a far more respectable team under SAF. With this smug cunt in charge, they just became even more dislikeable.

@Xperd

ok, i must apologize here for posting that quote from pogba's mother the other day without checking if it's legit. i found the same quote on a facebook page, where some poster said the source must be pogba's mum's interview for tf1. here's the interview, and it's a recent interview indeed: http://lci.tf1.fr/sept-a-huit/videos/paul-pogba-mon-fils-8764951.html
it's only available for french ip addresses, but here it is on an other site:
http://www.reportagestv.com/paul-pogba-mon-fils/
i went to a french-hungarian bilingual high school, i graduated like 20 years ago, so despite not having used the language ever since, i still understand some french. i just watched the whole interview, it's kind of interesting. pogba's mum is cute as it gets, she played football, in fact she was the captain of her national football team in guinea. she talks about the beginnings, his son's career, money, the atmosphere at home, pogba's hairstyle, even dab, etc.

now, at around 7:48, the reporter asks "what will he do next year?", then pogba's mum answers, "i don't know, we'll watch the final first, then we'll see". the reporter insists: "will he go to manchester?" answer: "i don't know" reporter: "you don't know, or you don't want to tell us?" answer: "i don't know at all".

so no mention of nedved, raiola, him staying at juve. it was a false quote on that insta page. the pic was cool, though.

Yeah Mazzari is someone who can also remake his reputation. He has been away for some time now so it's difficult to rank him.

Wait wait so you basically agree with selling Pogs if that would imply Higuain is coming

no way, let me go again... So you think a deal Pogs <->Darmian + Higuain+20m is something that just me would say no

IMO it is like offer Bonucci+Sturaro+20m for Neymar
Holy mother of insane asylum.

I said if we sell Zaza for 30 mil and spending another 40 (=70mil) would land us Higuain we should ask where to sign that daylight robbery.

pogba ?? Where did i mention him ?

Our turnover is above 350mil and bayern's is well below 500mil

Also he tried to continue playing with a torn ACL and later was strutting on the sideline coaching on that same torn ACL

Seriously, that shit hurts like a dry fuck

I was saying before the CL final that it should be between Griezmann and Ronaldo for the balon dor, so in my case it's not because of the Euro. The EURO was just a bonus, and he definitely should be in the top 3 for this year
I think Griezman deserves the balon dor this year.Of course, its not going to happen.
