Redcafe should be nuked. Now they have a guy over there arguing that Ryan Giggs was more popular and is more recognizable than Zidane.

Is he actually though? Think More Americans / Asians would recognise Giggs more. The premier league is popular in many countries, not sure Zidane would have had the same exposure.

You are joking, but I've seen a thread on redcafe about how they prefer martial to messi, like messi is past it and martial is gonna be as much as player very soon.

I'm sure that many Asian dream of playing for United - problem for them is that there aren't that many great talents coming out of that region.

They simply don't realise that the area where they draw most of their fanbase from (internationally speaking) simply doesn't produce nearly as many talents as the areas where other clubs dominate.

Owning a player like Pogba is like having a really super hot girlfriend who is out of your league and who has a flirtatious nature. You are constantly being told that she might go with another guy. Eventually you end up letting her go so you can relax with an average looking one with a good personality.
A word of caution. Real Madrid when they make their mind up always end up getting their man. They are transfer banned next season and what to make a massive signing this year - that could be Pogba.
Today's Juve are out of Man United's league. Marrota will play hardball with Real because of the Morata buyback.

Opened up The Sun this morning and they were talking about when he joins Man Utd, looked across the page about where Rooney could play in the team and in the formations without Rooney at CM they both had Pogba in their line up. Not even trying to hide their arrogance.

They actually had Pogba in their starting lineup? I figured he would be on United's bench since he is not ready for EPL coming from an inferior league.

I don't get it. I don't see any benefit in joining Utd. They don't play CL and even with Zlatan and that stupid Armenian guy who thinks he's good they're nowhere near our level.

I mean I'm sure they'll pay well, but we're Juventus. We're not exactly paupers. Besides, Pogba is 23. If he wants to maximize his potential and earn as much money as possible he needs to be a protagonist in the CL anyway.

Yeah. I can see him signing for United in the future if they become great again. No chance this summer, no matter the offer they make to Juve and Pogba.
Well, except if both Marotta and Raiola push hard for the transfer. But I can't imagine a situation in which Agnelli and Marotta will force Pogba out this summer.

Lol!

Yes, the Ribery thing was a turning point for Bayern; but it was not just about saying "No", we also had to give him a big raise. If Juve wants to keep Pogba (which I think they should, even if a 120m offer arrives at your footsteps) you probably will have to offer more competitive salaries. A Juventino friend once told me that Italy had an tax disadvantage, but I wasn't able to find evidence confirming that. Hope you keep him anyway ;)

The taxing disadvantage was compared to Spain. I haven't followed the taxing situation lately, but at one point 42% of the wages in Italy went for taxes, while in Spain it was about 20%, which meant that if a club was paying 10m eur for player's wages, the player was getting 5,8m after tax in Italy, and 8m euro after tax in Spain.
From what I recall, the taxing situation in Bundesliga and EPL was the same, or even worse than Italy.
