It's not an easy decision to take, but many teams had to drop world class 10's to play a 3 man midfield , and many quality midfielders were dropped because they didn't fit neither in a double pivot nor behind the strikers ( Pogba's case ) .

I think the right players to drop were Giroud and Matuidi not Griezmann and Pogba who are the ones that can make the difference for France along with Payet.

Payet definitely is the most in form french player at the moment but Pogba was in amazing form just a month ago, the kind of form that Payet can only dream about.

:p Hope he is just trying and understands that he needs to play Pogba and Griezmann.
