You doubt that in a few years Pogba will be more popular than Messi? Messi is 29 and Ronaldo is 31... Let's wait and see. I think we'd be making grave error to sell him in the next few seasons and I stand by what I said, not even for players like Messi or Ronaldo, who atm are at the top and will stay there for at least 2-3 seasons.

Pogba on the other hand is already among the top 10 most popular players and he's gonna dethrone them eventually.

Agreed. Even if they offered Neymar and Suarez and Messi, Pogba is still better.
I would reject all those players.

In knowing how much we suck in the market for creative midfielders, I wouldn't give away Pogba for less than 150M Euros at this point, and even then it might be a poor decision. So it just went up to 200M for me.

What's another 50M amongst fagggoty rich clubs?

Neymar is and will definetely be more popular than Pogba...
He already is TBH.

Neymar is popular because of Barca. Most of his popularity arises from the fact that he plays for one of the most globally followed club. We'll get there in the following years and players like Pogba and Dybala might give us a hand to close the gap.

Pogba is popular because of Pogba, magnetic personality. This guy is one charismatic mofo .

Why would he leave? Juve is his team. Barcelona is Messi team.

I don't understand this lack of competition in football. Why go join Messi's team when you can beat him with the team that you're the leader of?
Look at Neymar, he's a star player who is demoted to being a sidekick.

Neymar is popular because of Brazil, not Barca. Barca gained popularity because of Brazilian players like Ronaldinho and Neymar.

He has an advantage for two reasons. First is because he is a striker with flair and that gives him an advantage over midfielders. Second is because he plays for a club that gets much more viewership than we do. He thus gets wider recognition for his performances and tricks because more people watch him doing it than the people who watch Pogba.

Our disadvantage for being in Serie A is having less viewership. Pogba gets seen globally with France and during our CL runs. Neymar gets seen when playing in La liga, when playing in the CL (where barca get more attention than us) and when playing for Brazil (who get more attention than France).

Sponsors prefer to see their players in the EPL for example than in Serie A because that player (and thus their brand) gets more exposure by virtue of being in a much more followed league. You might get more exposure as a player in say Westham than in Roma, Napoli or Inter which is really sad. I'd actually be very interested to see the viewership stats for say Liverpool, Arsenal or Chelsea matches compared to Juve matches. It will be very sad if more people watch Fabregas and Coutinho than those who watch Pogba playing for Juve (in terms of league matches). Serie A must get their act together before its too late.
