:agree:

He's the most complete CM in the world, by far.

Yup. I think he will end up at barca as iniesta's replacement or an improvement on rakitic. Iniesta has one or two more seasons in him before he needs to be relegated to the bench.

Maybe i might be biased but i wouldn't trade Pogba for any footballer in the world bar Messi .

This guy is closest thing to Zidane .
You're not biased, but I wouldn't trade him even for Messi. Messi has a few good years left in him, while Pogs has a decade. He's gonna become the most popular player in the world soon.

agree. there is no player worth trading Pogba for. he loves the club, is amazing and getting better by year and is the perfect poster boy of this generation. gonna become a Juve legend one day

In knowing how much we suck in the market for creative midfielders, I wouldn't give away Pogba for less than 150M Euros at this point, and even then it might be a poor decision. So it just went up to 200M for me.

What's another 50M amongst fagggoty rich clubs?

Agreed. Even if they offered Neymar and Suarez and Messi, Pogba is still better.

If it is true that part of Barcelona's problems are due to the wage rise Messi is getting this year from 25 to 42M per year(covering his tax problems), Neymar is moaning about a wage rise, again the club must guarantee after tax wage and on top of that Suarez is getting a rise(although his one is quite minimal by Messi/Neymar standarts and fully deserved)!

This is close to Inter or Milan's wage bill on 3 players. It gives a new gravity to the meaning WC. Can those 3 and 7 amateurs beat Inter/Milan or similar waged squad? I don't think so.

i agree that the development is scary but your question oversimplifies the whole matter. first of all, the answer is "yes" because inter and milan are dog-shite.

furthermore, how many shirts do messi, neymar and suarez sell? ...

When Pogba becomes the worlds most popular footballer the club will benefit from this in a gigantic boost of marketing. We'll appeal to kids just like Barca has done it over the past 10 years!

football jersey sale numbers speak for themselves, so just a sidenote: i went to a walk with my son the other day. 4 kids were playing football on a ground nearby my home. 4 of 4 wore barca jerseys, 3 of 4 were a messi shirt, the 4th was a 2nd jersey without a name. so typical.

Its all true, but it goes both ways. Would Messi have scored as many goals without Alves? I guess we are about to find out.

What I meant was teams like ours go for my preferred methods - squad has a much smaller gap between top and flop. Therefore the emphasis is on the squad. I guess I am more of a socialist...
At the end of the day I guess the vital question is: "Does it work?" ... Real did it, maybe that is the way.
