That's only serie A, Europe and NT.
And whoscored's numbers are correct. He does have 28 assists in CL/serie A and 1 for NT. But he also has 4 assists in Coppa Italia and the Italian super cup and whoscored doesn't give stats for these competitions.
43 is from transfermarkt, which is pretty much a bullshit source as they count penalties won as assists. Even then I'm not sure how they have him on 43 as he has definitely not won 11 penalties for Juve.... Unless I'm really forgetting. I recall a few penalties won, but not 11.

According to transfermarkt:
man utd
10/11 0 goals 1 assists (reserve league)
11/12 3 goals 6 assists (reserve league, 0 goals 0 assists in 10 matches for the main squad)
juventus
12/13 5 goals 0 assists
13/14 9 goals 16 assists
14/15 10 goals 11 assists
15/16 10 goals 16 assists

34 goals 43 assists plus 5 goals and 3 assists for france including friendlies

because in germany if you won a penalty for your team and your teammate has scored it then they award you with an assist which makes sense

That list is probably bull$#@!. They didn't even count the assists until 7-8 years ago. I doubt that someone watched all Juve goals in the last decades just to count the assists Platini and co. made while playing for Juve.
They started counting assists in the 90s.

And yes, he watched the highlights of every game. That's how he got the Platini and Baggio numbers.

Pogba, ADP, and Nedved numbers are from Transfermarkt.

Counting PK assists does make sense. Transfermarkt counts FK-won assists too I believe.

It does make sense, and I actually think it should be counted as an assist, but seeing as Neither Serie A not UEFA count it as an assist, statistics should stick with the status quo.

Didn't know about the free kicks. Interesting.

The transfermarkt numbers are crap for Del Piero as they don't have assist data for his early career as they list him with 0 Serie A assists for 95-96, 96-97, 97-98 and so on. Which is ridiculous. According to them he had 1 Serie A assist total before the 01-02 season.

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...the-greatest-second-striker-of-our-generation
Alessandro Del Piero

661 appearances, 279 goals, 83 assists (club)
91 appearances, 28 goals (National)

then he had 4 assists in serie a in 10/11 and 11/12 season so it's around 87
