I think its good to rank clubs not just in terms of most recent form but also, wealth and attractiveness on the market and potenial.

I think Barca, Madrid and Bayern are on their own. They are guaranteed titles, wealth and are very attractive on the market for any player. They naturally collect all the best talents in the world.

On the second Level, is Juve, Chelsea, and PSG. What the latter two lack in history they make up in wealth. They are also favorites in their leagues.

On the third level is City and probably United. Super wealth and one title is a great season. Utd will ofcoarse try to join Bayern, Barca and Madrid.

Fourth level is Arsenal and ATM though the latter peform at a much higher level than Arsenal and are all about character. Unlike Arsenal.
Madrid and guaranted title?

Sunday Mirror piles in with a story that a bid is in the Juve inbox from Manchester City for €89m.(£71.5m)

Considered by some in the UK to be one of the more reliable sources of credible transfer 'journalism', there is a whiff of something in this one being accurate.

It's the sort of bid that would get AA twitching.

So tired of all these transfer rumours of both Pogba and Vidal. Seriously, will this be like this until 1st september? I think there are only 3 or 4 players of us not linked with a transfer: Buffon, Chiellini and Marchisio? :facepalm2:

Probably not that simple, as they're not complete idiots. All you have to do is make a clause in the contract saying they can pull out of the deal in case of a major injury that will keep the player sidelined for X amount of months. Another way of putting it is: it's easy to stipulate in the contract that the "injury risk" remains at Juve.

If they do agree to pay 100 mill and take on board the injury risk themselves, they are complete jackasses. I'm not ruling it out, I'm just saying I'd be very surprised if Barca's legal team were to pursue such a strategy.

But maybe :beppe: can distract them so they forget to bring up the issue entirely :D

Beppe :

I’ll say it again, Juve’s future project is based on keeping our best players.”

Gotta have faith in the bepps :beppe:

I expect Pogba to be the exception to the rule though.

And maybe Morata mainly cause of the clause. We''ll have enough dough to retain the rest going into the future.

If its true that he is a Barca player from 2016 he should ride the bench for the entirety of next season. Disgusting deal, we're basically nurturing the development of a Barca player for a fixed price.
