Why does anyone find it necessary to sell pogba, even for such a crazy amount of money? We almost won a treble...if the player doesn't want to leave and we can manage to throw together enough finances to strengthen an already great team, why do it? I think we will look back and regret selling him...even if we could finance every crazy posters dream signings with the sale of one player.

I love the thought of us turning down offers of 80 million for him for multiple reasons.

The obvious one being that we keep him, but the other is that we're not jumping at the chance to earn that amount of money for a player we essentially paid nothing for (excluding wages and training fees to Man Utd)

It shows that we're completely self sufficient, that kind of cash injection is not required to further strengthen our own squad or pay off any remaining debts.

It shows our commitment to the player as well and I like to think that should we keep him even with the prospect of higher bids that money isn't everything, a thought that's lost on the bidding party :D

I've posted a goal article well before the italian one. I am convinced that if City were serious about landing him (and they ought to be for several reasons) it is actually where I expect them to bid.
Everyone knows he will accept Barca for 80-90 mils next year and I am sure the player likes Spain better, so if City want to convince him ... 200-220 mil euros are exactly what they would need for a 5 year deal.

Evra: 'Pogba, stay at Juve'
By Football Italia staff

Patrice Evra told teammate Paul Pogba “it would be a good idea” to stay at Juventus.

The pair played for France in last night’s shock friendly defeat to Albania, but Pogba is constantly surrounded by transfer speculation.

“I’m here to advise him to make the best choice, but I told him that ultimately the decision is his,” Evra commented on Telefoot.

“People forget that Paul is young, and if he wants to go to a very big European club at age 22, why not? But if he wants to stay I think it would be a good idea.

“Besides, I do not think that Juventus want to let him go.”

Pogba has a contract with the Bianconeri until June 2019 and a price-tag of €100m.

Juve isnt the same as Real and Barca. People need to accept that. We are on the same level as everyone else but its clear for players those are the two top choices in the world. Mostly because of the huge wages they can pay
