I love the thought of us turning down offers of 80 million for him for multiple reasons.

The obvious one being that we keep him, but the other is that we're not jumping at the chance to earn that amount of money for a player we essentially paid nothing for (excluding wages and training fees to Man Utd)

It shows that we're completely self sufficient, that kind of cash injection is not required to further strengthen our own squad or pay off any remaining debts.

It shows our commitment to the player as well and I like to think that should we keep him even with the prospect of higher bids that money isn't everything, a thought that's lost on the bidding party
