Yep. I don't think he will leave this summer. Maybe next summer UNLESS we have a repeat of this season in the CL or at least reach the Semi's.

Like I said the other day. If we can manage to cement ourselves in the CL semi's every year then he has as good of a chance of getting a CL trophy as anywhere else. We are getting better and we are close to have a team capable of that. And if that happens the only reason why he would want to leave is the money.

BUT, that doesn't mean we can't increase our wage structure/salary cap if we keep achieving this high expectations. If we keep up this pace I see us doubling our salary cap which will make it much easier to keep players like Pogba when they are at their peak.

Maybe Sergio can add to this?
Why Sergio?I agree with you.Only thing that I am concerned of is that we are really cursed for that finals.Definitely.It hurt me soooo much,
Exactly.

Why Sergio?!?!?!

Oh, and in regards to Pogba.

This team has sold Baggio and Zidane in the past when both were Ballon D'or winners. Juve will somehow survive Pogba leaving as well, if it comes to that

If they sell Pogba, it will be because he wants to leave, and that's fine. No point in keeping someone around if (And again this has not been substantiated) they don't want to be here

Barca have a ban for next season they can't buy him and pogba isn't going barca when they have suarez, neymar messi. he will be subbed there.
If anyone gets subbed at Barca if he goes there, it would be Iniesta. Pogba would not be a sub on that squad.

Barca: 'Pogba is an objective'
by Football Italia

Barcelona President Josep Maria Bartomeu confirmed Juventus star “Paul Pogba is one of our objectives.”
The patron was fresh from celebrating the Treble, completed on Saturday night by beating Juve 3-1 in Berlin.
“Pogba is a great player and it’s true he is one of our objectives,” Bartomeu told Telefoot.
“Obviously we are interested in Pogba, but I cannot say any more than that. We cannot sign anybody before January, so I can’t say more.”
Barcelona are subject to a transfer embargo after breaching FIFA rules on deals with players aged under 18.

The Blaugrana are finding a way around that, having this week secured Aleix Vidal from Sevilla for around €10m.
He won’t be available to play until January 2016.
Meanwhile, Juve have repeatedly made clear they have no intention of selling Pogba, who at 22 has a price-tag of €100m.
The Bianconeri have no financial problems and reaching the Champions League Final boosted their revenue this season by €100m.

This is all old news, lads. Anyone who thought Barcelona wasn't interested in Paul hasn't been paying attention. Braida said they liked the player back in April, and then out of respect they refused to directly say they liked the player right before the final.

But anyone who says 'out of respect' they shouldn't talk about the future of a player that isn't theirs, well, seems to me pretty obvious they like the player. Otherwise, they'd just say, 'no, we're not looking at this player', and there'd be no controversy at all.

Transfer directors, agents, and players are always extremely ambigious about their future plans or ongoing negotiations. Part of the reason for that is of course that would they openly deny any false rumours, you'd know their plans when they then don't do it in one case, where they are interested.

They're not always extremely ambiguous, some use the media to try and exert pressure to achieve a desired outcome (force a move through, etc.), but I certainly get what you're saying. Leverage can be gained by keeping things on the down low, there can be advantages to not letting your competitors know what you're doing... but with a high-profile guy like this, it's just way too obvious.

Everybody and their dog should have already known Barca wanted Pogba -- their management and half the team have been pumping his tires publicly for months!

They always do that.

Fabregas saga should ring a bell.

Now next step is all of Barca's starting XI players tapping him up through the media.

So whats the big deal.If we sell him we will have the reasons for that.Either economical or he wants the transfer.I am concerned that we are champions of lost finals. That's more important for me than selling Pogba or his wages .

I just let him know. He looked at me quizzically for a moment, and then proceeded to continue to lick his anus.

so what if they're interested? They've yet to do an official bid or anything. Pogba has a contract, he stays the end.

edit

btw just something to add, people were saying the same thing about Nedved when he was the best Midfielder in the world and how he was supposedly ready to leave Juve

Nice try, Sergio. Obviously the quizzical look from your pup meant, "Uhh, yeah Dad, obviously Barcelona is interested in him -- but Pogba has a contract until 2019. Now please, if you're quite finished with April's news, I've got some important business to attend to."

I'd give a few other mutts a pass, but there's no way your dog didn't already know.

:p
