But none would offer €100m this summer. He's not proved to be worth this much just yet. And that's great! Because then he can stay here and continue to improve, and once he truly is worth €100 (in todays market, bc one could argue none is never worth that much) we can sell him.
It could be next year even, but we must remember Paul is still just 22 and therefore no parties are in a rush for drastic action.
I'd say he's proved much more than Bale did before his move

It is easy to forget he is so young, he needs to realise he has a lot of room to grow here.
I'm in NO WAY trying to blame him for anything, i won't. But this thing about he's being "so young" i don't buy it.

- He's not 17, he's 22, almost 23, 11 months younger than Neymar who at 19 had 1 Libertadores and 3 Domestic cups to his name. Being the best player in all of them.

- He's been in the first team for 3 seasons now, first choice for France's national team. Played a World Cup. Sure there are always things to learn but he isn't inexperienced at all. No way.

It seems his injury kind of put a stop to his progress and that sucks. But our opinion about him will always be biased for we're Juventini but if we to be fair, injury or not, he's been more hype than anything. If he stays i expect him to explode in 1 or 2 years tops or at least learn consistency or he really isn't all that.

jesus fuckin christ!! it is just 5 matches after the injury. even vidal took more than a half season to get back to his best. give him time.

good thing the season is over and there arent any major tournaments in the summer for him. unlike Vidal last season, will have much more time to recover from the injury

Especially for awesome amount of money. But he will stay at least for one season more.
Yep. I don't think he will leave this summer. Maybe next summer UNLESS we have a repeat of this season in the CL or at least reach the Semi's.

Like I said the other day. If we can manage to cement ourselves in the CL semi's every year then he has as good of a chance of getting a CL trophy as anywhere else. We are getting better and we are close to have a team capable of that. And if that happens the only reason why he would want to leave is the money.

BUT, that doesn't mean we can't increase our wage structure/salary cap if we keep achieving this high expectations. If we keep up this pace I see us doubling our salary cap which will make it much easier to keep players like Pogba when they are at their peak.

Maybe Sergio can add to this?

Often the Clubs first intention renewing them is just to get more money,
not to keep the player...
:agree:

Imagine :beppe: is really doing a Zamp and refusing to put Pogba on the negotiating table to push for a higher sum.

Basically telling the bigger fish in the pond Pogba isn't for sell would be telling them subliminally they will need to table a substantially large sum to get our attention.
