money
better exposure
achieved almost everything with juventus
play against better competition
off the court opportunities and endorsements
oh, and to repeat, €€€€€€€€€€€€€€
we gave him a raise only months ago, do you think Pogba will bitch around and ask for more money every year?
better exposure? what does that even mean? he is THE star player playing here, going to Madrid to be onl the 5th/6th most popular player in the team. is that what you call exposure?
achieved almost everything here? we are only at the beginning of our project yet you think that this is the maximum we can do. sad fan you are.
he plays against better competition in the CL every season.
great reason to leave a football club.
if you think Pogba would put a few M ahead of his development as a footballer and his goal to become the best player, you dont know him at all

and i asked for good reasons why he would want to leave us in the next few years, not some made up bullshit that might or might not be interpreted as a reason for him to maybe leave one day

I don't know what is up with you but any ambitious person with goals wishes those things for themselves, you trying to justify Pogba staying here without looking around at what other teams can offer is just stupid.

We gave him a raise? Real, PSG and the rest can more than double his salary. They can offer him exposure and an audience that never even know anything about Serie A.

honestly zizinho, get real. It's business, not some 'tuz fanboyism. Stop being in denial.

Doubt that. He'd need to become the best footballer in the world to get the double of what he's earning now. He'll be earning more than 6m in a few years, or 12m gross. There aren't many players atm with higher salary.

PSG cannot guarantee him European glory, neither is French league attractive destination, certainly inferior competition in many aspects to Serie A. Real, Barca and Chelski, if he decides to leave, but there's no sense in harping over it since recently he signed a new deal.

im not trying to justify anything. its you and some other members here that are trying to do so. i said already that Pogba will stay here for sure in the next 2-3 years, beyond that its impossible to predict. you come here and spread your bullshit about him leaving (even if at the moment there is absolutely nothing indicating such a thing, from him and from the club officials) and when i ask you for a good reason for Pogba to want to leave us in the next few years you throw some irrelevant stuff at me. now i'll ask you again. give me one good reason why a young player like Pogba, who is only at the beginning of his career and has everything he needs here, want to leave us EVEN WHEN he extended his contract few months ago for an extra THREE YEARS?

We gave him a raise? Real, PSG and the rest can more than double his salary. They can offer him exposure and an audience that never even know anything about Serie A.
i already expained you the money thing, we gave him a raise only months ago, do you think Pogba will ask for an increased salary every now and often?

honestly zizinho, get real. It's business, not some 'tuz fanboyism. Stop being in denial.
OK, i'll stop being in denial. i'll accept that we are some mediocre club and that we will sell all our best players as soon as a good opportunity comes. in fact, i think thats what Marotta meant when he mentioned the opportunities on the market that we have to take. thanks for enlightening me, Suns. i feel much better now knowing that Pogba is gone and that i have no reason to deny it anymore.

No reason for him to leave then.
It's all about the money.

And it has nothing to do with his wages. He may only get 2mln more at PSG, but if they do decide to offer 80mln or something like that, then it will be accepted. And no, that doesn't mean we're a weak club, but it always come to the point when a club agrees to sell since the bid is way too high to reject. Losing Pogba is not impossible.

And no, I'm not saying he's going to leave in July. All I'm saying is that every player has a price and there's no way we'd be saying no till death.

I agree with this, but that has more to do with a fact that if we evaluate the offer beeing presented will guarantee for us to invest in other areas, by bringing few key/WC players, therefore overall improving as a team, making us more competitive in the end. Pros would have to outweight cons in any case. If we decide to sell him it will be on our terms, not because player or his agent forced us to accept any proposal that comes our way, which Suns repetitive (borderline trolling) posts hint, that we'll bend over.

IMO if we decide to sell him eventually you can bet your ass it's going to be some player + cash. Not specifically from PSG but any team.

How the fuck is money, exposure and teams with bigger ability($$$$$) irrelevant? What the hell is relevant then?

I never said he was gone, there are other factors that come into play, for example how willing we are to sell. You asked for reasons why Pogba should leave and I offered you them.

You're not even being rational.

I guess the "Pogba is leaving in June fo shizzle" rumours are the new Cassano, we'll have to get used to them popping up every January.

Or at least I hope so, because that would mean he won't already be gone :shifty:

It will haunt 'Tuz 'til the day Pogba leaves, which will be within 6-24 months according to my 8-ball.

I don't think he'll go to PSG. Real or Barca on the other hand, I do see.
Have absolutely no need for pogba so we shouldnt worry about those two.
