Should we have sold 20 year old del piero and got 70 mil to spend (in those days that was alot) ?

Or would you prefer the legend our captain became ?
Do you know what you could buy with 70M then?

17 year old Ronaldo was 5.5M. Roberto Carlos 6M. Bergkamp 11M. Romario 12M. Crespo 4M. Cafu 2M. I could make the best team of all-time with that money LOL.

im not so sure about this one. Mandzukic has not many aspects of the game on his side better than Llorente. except for workrate and maybe headers i cant think of any...
I can think of many; a better movement and positioning, finishing, athleticism, quicker thinking, etc...

@Klin, no!

Muller+Kroos+40mil we don't want immigrants for our stallion, we want their sons.
 I always find it funny when people think Pogba is worth that much. Some people here make fun of Inter and Milan forums and their delusional fans but we do the same thing overrating Pogba like he's the next Zidane. He still hasn't done shit to even be 10% of what Zidane was, got a loooong way to go.

Yes, sir. But i've seen other comments where people were seriously expecting big teams to give 2 or 3 of their top players PLUS money for a 21 year old kid who's got the talent to be a star but has yet to grow as a professional.

It's beyond retardness, really.

we need to get Conte sorted first imo...he needs to be assured of certain things next season which is understandable...i am pretty sure he wants to retain his best players if he stays..and this i think includes pogba. if pogba must be sold then it would take a hell of a powerpoint presentation from marotta to reassure conte that the money would be invested wisely

it all comes down to money relly. can we use pogba money to assemble a squad that is better than a squad we would have if we used money laying around while keeping pogba? we all, like conte, would eventually get fedup of dominating this piss poor league according to some...so we need to go HAM on the UCL...to do this we will need injection of more quality....as we all see how disjointed and tired our performances are...if one can only point to one or two matches where we showed a lil decent play then something is wrong there...

He isn't worth 70 million euro's yet but i think there are clubs stupid enough to pay that fee.

So you like Juventus, then I say something you don't like, so I say $#@! Juventus to offend you. It's not about the carrots bro.
Sorry bro, Juventus f@%&s you and not the other way round. I don't mind Totti or carrots but I wouldn't f@%& neither of them.

But enough with the spam! Pogba is great, yey :nico:

Yep, just another reason why modern football sucks. The overrating, overpricing and overexpectation over players has never been this high. It's stupid.

And like i said above, i'd never accept only money. If we do, We'll end up like Tottenham. We need a good Player(s) + money deal. Focusing on the quality of the player(s) included in the deal, not the money.

End up like Tottenham or end up like Napoli and Roma did after their big sales last season with far better overall quality? Simply, Tottenham bought some expensive flops. But as retarded as I find the severe overspending by the handful of super rich clubs in Europe, it can be balanced out if the recipients of those massive fees can spend them wisely. Roma, Napoli and Athletico all come to mind.

The problem is that we are Juventus and every other team overvalues their players when we are bidding for them. Example is Gaetano D'Agostino from Udinese. We wanted him in 2009 and Udinese said he will cost us 20 + mil. and next year they sold him to Fiorentina for 4.5 mil.

Probably only relevant within Italy and Udinese have sold us plenty of players recently I would say weren't terribly over priced.
