50m + Verratti.

Getting Verratti back would be important, he's Pirlo's heir anyway. He's Italian which means that we can count on his services for the rest of his career since Italians usually stay loyal to Juventus and vice versa. But most importantly, whole Europe will know we just got paid a lot and everyone will ask absurd amounts for their players when we come knocking on their door.

Why would they want it to happen? Clearly having a mega star like Pogba around in Italy would benefit them more than him being in France.
From what I've read in Gazzeta and other media outlets they always hope that some misfortune occurs, be it in sporting results, transfers, scandals, etc... News of selling Pogba will undoubtedly generate interest and that's all they wish for. When have Italian journalists looked for a long term benefit?

A pro milaneese newspaper would likely hate to see big rival juventus with a player that can become best of the world in the next years
First of all, the PSG owner publicly spoke about Pogba.

Also Gazzetta only has loyalty to the $$$$$ and that is exactly what Pogba is.

Yes and their editors are supporters of Milanese clubs. You'll always read that Milan wants to sign this and that, some top name, but Juve are looking to sell Vidal, Pogba, Conte is leaving, etc... Anything that can potentially destabilize us.

The $$$$$$ come from milan fans.

If juve is the very big team in italy, and milan is merde, then milan will get less and less fans.
And that fans buy the gazzetta

So gazzetta cannot want juventus to be very much better then milan.

If you applied common sense then you are absolutely right. Unfortunately they are too biased for that, bad Juve news sells best.

Why are you guys hating on a newspaper ? Its not like that scenario is unlikely to happen.PSG's president publicly said they'll try to sign him in the summer so that should say much.

:agree:

They are like the opposite of tuttosport, while TS always links us with great players, GdS constantly have our best players leaving us.

On a newspaper, or on GdS specifically? I can think of one or two reasons for the latter.

Obviously they are just trying to put two and two together, but they are guessing figures and dates, regardless of the source.
