I think that Jovetic will be attainable in the summer for approximately 15m. He doesn't fit there, he is Aguero deputy and won't get up from bench soon. If I were Marotta, I would offer loan with an option to buy after the end of this season :D
What complete fucking imbecile tought it was a good idea to consider jovetic anywere near usefull in a team that allready had Aguero and Dzeko, whilst Negredo was on his way ?

And how fucking stupid is Jovetic to go to a team that has aguero in it? How exactly is he gonna get playtime when a so much more talented player is ahead of him ?

That's why I'am insisting on loan! :D

I was referring to that Nicholas words that we should sell Pogba and bring Jovetic. My point is, we don't have to sell Pogba so as to buy Jovetic.

Some quotes, sorry if they have been posted already:
Juventus manager Antonio Conte believes Pogba will be the best
“We started working on him a year ago and his progress has been incredible. I saw his interviews in which he said he wanted to become the best in the world. I am happy with that, because in my view he can be the best.”

Man City youth boss Patrick Vieira reckons the club made a mistake not trying to sign Pogba
"Many tell me that [he plays like I do]. I think he is more attacking than me and perhaps more technically skilled. He’s amazing."

Juventus and Italy veteran Gianluigi Buffon
“Pogba has been a real surprise, as when he arrived nobody thought he could be this good. He is an extraordinary player who maintains great humility. I think he will make history for Juventus and France.”

Man United defender Patrice Evra laments the loss of Pogba
“His talent on the pitch, his aggression, his presence, is very rare. He very quickly earned the respect of players like Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes.”

Juventus great and 2003 Ballon d'Or winner Pavel Nedved
“Pogba can win the Ballon d'or, I have no doubt about it. He's only 20 and has time to improve.”

Juventus maestro and midfield mentor to Pogba, Andrea Pirlo
“Pogba can become the best midfielder in the world. He has strength, technique and the right mentality.”

France manager and World Cup winning captain Didier Deschamps on Pogba's call-up in March
“He is a player for the future and the future starts now for him. I want to see him with us, within the squad and at training. He strikes the ball well and uses it well.”

Indeed, but you could see the main reason for his move; lucrative contract offer, very hard for any player to refuse these days. How much is he earning anyway, 6-7m per year? Fiorentina had to cash in after Gomez's arrival and selling Jovetic was perfect for them, especially since they had an upcoming Rossi.

Yes, and thats the biggest mistake of all. He now has 5 years of a good contract, but will move down after that. If he was smart, he picked a team without the best SS in the world as your direct rival.
Juventus or Borussia dortmund would have been absolutely massive for him. Both teams needed that SS player, both teams are making headlines and he would earn, less then now at city but not that much less. 4.5 mil at juve/dortmund perhaps.
THEN, with europe to showcase himself, and a truckload of fans hoping you are the new del piero/gotze, you can really thrive and develop, and make that boss transfer 3 years later for Van Persie or suarez wages, and a cabinet full of trophee's.

Rossi > Jovetic any ways
seems like it. But Rossi was smartpicking fiorentina, jovetic was not

Rossi > Jovetic any ways
By now you can certainly say that Rossi more than justified the initial trust placed in him. I'm sorry for Jovetic, foremost how it evolved, but he wouldn't be the first young player to make the wrong decision which will in the end slow down his progress and he'll maybe even regress a little bit after his England experience. Another talent wasted. Maybe in a few years we can revive his career; loan with an option to buy. :klin:

I don't even think Rossi was that bad, even before this season he has shown more promise than Jovetic imo, at least he was consistent for Parma and Villarreal before his injury whilst he showed promise at man utd
