Im sure Pogba aint dumb enough or not already cocky enough to miss practice intentionally or due to laziness and for that reason declaring it out on the website was harsh and dumb even if the punishment is fine.
Why is it harsh? Vidal was fined a very large sum of money for not keeping up with his diet last season - that was reported on Juventus.com aswell. It's club news and is reported.

Yeah, very smart too let internal affairs to be discussed through the media. That might Lead to more tention and destroy team spirit. So if a player is unhappy should he also express that in the media? Its gonna work both ways u know

raiola is forcing an exit already :sergio:
If Pogba is gonna be butthurt over something like this and have his agent force through another transfer, then all I can say is: Sell.

Zero tolerance must be issued forth!

So here's my two cents.

If he misses two trainings or is late for two, it's fair that he isn't in the squad for the next game. He's 19 years old, albeit extremely talented, he's 19 years old and serves a rotational role in this club. If players like Pirlo, Buffon, Chiellini, Vidal, Marchisio and Vucinic who have given so much to this club last season (and Buffon for as long as I can remember) can get there on time, by god so can 19 year old Pogba. If this is enough for Raiola to force an exit from the club then so be it, we don't need primadonnas. I don't think he will leave because Pogba realises the project here and knows that he will develop perfectly in our club. If he choses to leave, fuck him - there's nothing we can do about it.

A transfer out of Juventus would bring the fat $#@! Raiola some ca$h. Then, he'll do it again with another club.
This was always the plan, to flip him for profit. It was a smart to move him from MU because they can still pay top tier wages while Juventus can't. It's a win/win for us either way and if he does leave, it might help us get that striker. Pogba- Higuain/Villa?

For those of you saying this shouldn't have been made public:

Would you have preferred that Conte/Juve were criticised for not playing Pogba in this game for no apparent reason, followed by the inevitable leaks in the following days that that would have unofficially told everyone what happened?

Juve have handled this just fine so far.

A minor lie in this case, or economical version of the truth would have been preferable. If he has the Right kinda hunger for the game, whic a player in his role essentially requires, it would be enough of a slap in the face to miss a game against minnows, probably a full game, another chance to show your strength. Would have been preferable for all involved to make the punishment fair and yet avoid public show inevitably leading to concrete talk of Pogba/Raiola v Juventus. Which does no favours for Pogba or Juve, solely for the agent (potentially). He has been given the trust and encouragement of a decent amount of playing time already, and should respect this and buck up, princess...but yes, I would have preferred to hear of an injury, or stomach bug, a story to act as nothing more than varnish on already fine wood...assuming that the likely story could be something else, but nothing too sinister.

The problem is making that little lie stick.

I wouldn't be confident of someone not leaking the real reason for Pogba's absence.

Also, maybe Juve felt that merely not playing against Pescara wasn't enough of a punishment and wanted him to be publicly shown up to take him down a notch or two.

I don't agree with telling everyone whats going on like that. They could just have told us he had a cold and that'll be that. Nobody would doubt it or say anything. Now Pogba will have a reputation in the media of being a bad boy which is not to the benefit of anyone. Media will feast on things like this and anything he does will get blown up x100.

So there is pressure on him to conduct himself properly.

    Is that a bad thing?
Him getting a bad reputation is not a good thing for us or him. It will just cause distractions. From now on he'll always be seen as a bad boy even if he starts conducting himself. If he keeps on doing this for a longer time then we could go with another approach. But for now, try resolving the issues without involving the media. I would like to think that we could take care of this problem.

Basically yeah, routine stuff, players get reprimanded for minor stuff often by clubs. Only difference this time is the arrogant loud mouth who represents the player.

He was late twice. He signed a contract, a legal agreement, to compose himself to the clubs standards.

He failed, twice. Welcome to Juventus.

Punishment was just. Either he learns or we sell. No favorable treatment, even for 19 years olds.

    Lesson learned.

Exactly. If this gets ugly or blown out of proportion we can thank Raiola.
