Was Marchisio at that level as a 22 year old? Not really but look what he developed into with all the playing time he got. I didn't really think Marchisio became a truly class player until mid last season after years of game time. I always liked Marrone. He performed well a few pre-season matches as a youth. I've never really seen him have a bad game and if he's not yet as classy as Pogba, he's surely reliable defensively and creatively.

I think so. Black player + disciplinary troubles = Balotelli. I can't remember anybody comparing Vidal to Balotelli, when he was suspended from Chile's squad. I have caught my mind doing the same... -_-
