Considering there would be an outcry if we didn't re-invest the Pogba sale money in to the team I fail to see how we'd even benefit from selling him financially let alone in terms of improving the squad
So we sell him for 80M, we sign Cavani and some decent midfielder. The Pogba money is gone, Pogba is gone and the club didn't really 'make' any money
Alternatively we sell him for 80M and only use half of that on a new player or 2. From there on in, every time something goes wrong 90% of the fans and the entire Italian media blast Juve hierarchy for selling Pogba for personal gain.
I don't see a good scenario here, unless we strike it lucky and manage to bring in 2 amazing players.
