Especially as he had more pace than the alternative Xabi Alonso bloke.
:D
Secco actually had a deal with crew Alonso. Secco then happily went to the then-coach Claudio Ranieri to inform about the signing of Alonso - but NO -> Ranieri had his eyes and heart set on Poulsen and wanted him instead. My god - what a story it is today. What a horrible failure of a coach that man is, Ranieri. But well - new times now! :)

I imagine the desire for Poulsen came from Poulsens confrontations with Gattuso, Totti etc. The man pretty much got himself into trouble with all of our rivals iconic players. It was meant to be. Sadly he didn't have enough talent to play for us

He managed to get an upgrade and go to Liverpool. He's a star.

It's great that we can look back at these times and laugh, knowing that they're behind us.

Shut up, racist.
How am I a racist?

For writing about the happiness of Barbara Berlusconi and Mariah Carey? I haven't uttered a single racial epithet/slur in the years I've been a member of this forum, nor have I discriminated against any particular race/gender/sexual orientation. If my posts bother you, I suggest you seek a therapist.

The guy can turn on a dime and fool a defender at his back but those gangly legs really don't allow him to dribble at anyone with any kind of success.
