I'd say he's worth somewhere around 40-45m (I'd say he's shown about as much as Martinez had when Bayern snatched him up, despite being younger). I usually start laughing when I see a post saying "50m + [x]" - that's just incredible overrating.
Let's say that 40m is his real value considering the current state on the market, but clubs can't expect to get him at that price, can they? They need to pay over the top for this immensely talented youngster. You need to take his potential into consideration as well because that kind of player might easily be worth 80-90m in a few years.

I'd be surprised if a midfielder who doesn't play AM gets sold for that amount. When we sell him it will be for 50 perhaps 60 million.

i'd say juventus could use someone like suarez much more than cavani. Cavani was needed last year and year before imo. when the team created 50 chances per game and could finish non.

now I see player like suarez who can carry an attack on his own being much more useful for this more stale juve side

Well that's two things we can agree to disagree on.
What do you want Llorente to do before he gets close to Cavani? Win virtually every high ball sent towards him? Hold up play incredibly well? Have great movement? Score clutch goals? Idk :D

i don't see pogba playing a traditional midfield role anymore (for Juve) , not with the way he is developing. he's def heading the iniesta root with how more advanced he is playing every game, compared to last season for example

Excuse me, I didn't realise Buffon played as a midfielder for Parma. Drastic move to pay 50m for a midfielder and then put him in goal - but I guess it paid off.
Listen; offensively minded players are more valuable on the market and that's why I mentioned Buffon who was payed 50m euros more than 12 years ago. Inflation is the other reason.

Pogba has characteristics to become great AM in a future. Selling him now for 40m at the age of 21 or even discussing about it is worth of ridicule.

last time juventus had a quality young player like this was del piero, who went on to become a god like figure for juventus.

history repeating itself?
There will never be another Del Piero like figure in our tea, at least not in the coming 50 years or so. At most, Pogbas can aim to reach a Nedved like status (worshipped and loved by every juventino).

The gap between cavani and llorente isnt that much.
I'm not even sure i prefer cavani tbh.

A tevez-suarez-llorente frontline wont work however, they'll run in each others way

You need a midfielder behind two out of those tree

Like ozil, müller, Mata, ...

I dont think its a fair comparison actually. One is a goal machine while the other is a more well rounded forward who plays the supporting cast from time to time.
