I'm conflicted.
An athleste is at his best physically till 32yrs old so he has 3-4years ahead of him being on top there.
Also United always played him in the wrong position as cdm in a 4-2-3-1 instead of LCM in a 4-3-something.
So I'm also hopeful that by putting him back in his position where he shined would massively improve his situation.
What's worrieful is the injuries in the past 2 seasons (like Dybala)

I'd totally get Pogba if we also get someone like Milinkovic Savic.
But calling it quits after getting Pogba to fix our midfield problem.... he wouldn't be my first choice.
We can’t throw all our eggs in one basket and splash everything on a SMS type after we already secured Pogba for that midfield leading role… we still need to invest in at least a top CB , two top LM/RM and a back-up ST, all this without anyone else leaving.. while also planning to likely give a fair chance to guys like Miretti or Fagioli to prove themselves.

Ofc if we manage to somehow sell all of McKennie, Arthur and Rabiot for a profit while also terminating Ramsey’s contract then that would be a totally different story altogether, but still a highly unlikely one that is.

thats my dream.
Selling Arthur for Arsenal defender just to send him away and solve back up cb role
Selling Rabiot (United rumors for 10-15m)
Selling Mckennie which we bought for global 25m fee for profit
Letting Ramsey leave for 4m

That's be the dream.
Bringing in
Pogba 15m fee to agents
Frattesi 15m+ a youth
Milinkovic 50-60m+Fagioli or someone like Rugani (Sarri wanted him for Acerbi)

Leaving our mid with:
Pogba-Locatelli-Milinkovic
(Frattesi-Zakaria-Miretti)
That's would be my dream.

Gabriel Maganes as sub CB + Acerbi as subs of Bonucci-DeLigt

And focus on attack

Next summer we can focus on redoing defence giving that Cuadrado and Sandro contracts will expire and we don't know what's gonna happen with De Ligt

Juventus have scheduled new direct contacts soon for Paul Pogba. Negotiations ongoing to discuss details of the contract, after long-term deal proposal worth €8m per season net as guaranteed salary plus add-ons #transfers

Real Madrid are focused on Tchouaméni, not on Pogba.

Aren't pogba and sms too similar? I would like to have one ball-winning midfielder in a trio. Pogba-locatelli-Zakaria looks good

I've been thinking about the Pogba signing for a few days now and I think a lot of people might be in for a rude awaking at how much EPL mindset "corrupts" the thought on players.

Players who don't succeed or struggle in bad situations in the EPL are instantly discarded and treated like pariahs in the football world. I think Pogba definitely had injury issues at ManU but I also think some of it could be due to him seeing an awful manager telling him what to do plus seeing a failing project surround him and knowing he was about to be out the door. Maybe not the best mentality in a player but why risk your body further if you know you're leaving and you know the organization is falling apart around you.

If he ends up a lazy worker on the field, Capitano Bonucci will happily distribute lashes of motivation by the dozens
