He is irrelevant nowadays on a football level, nobody's interested in a documentary about a player that failed to live up to his potential.
he's literally wasted 5 years of his brilliant career at a mediocre club. he was away from the Champions League for three years. Everyone else in man utd is mediocre or after joining to this shity club, become invisible.

This is true and it really shows the fall from grace of some of these "legacy" clubs in England.

ManU, Arsenal. Players go there and the clubs have these historic legacies but the players are invisible due to the league being so top heavy that they cannot get to Champions League. Manchester United was a step BACK for Pogba, coming from Juventus.

I would say his time at United was not ideal and there are a lot of reasons for that, some of them being Pogba's fault no doubt. But a lot of the issues were the club's management fault. Ole is a joke. The fact he was allowed to manage that club for how long he did is just shambolic. The club ownership is completely disinterested in the success or growth of the club and view it as an asset to make money. So the ambitions don't always align with a fanbase that is stuck in the 90s and early 00s.

Soon, realization will sink in that the club just isn't as prestigious as it once was. It was always have the name Manchester United but the football world moves on from historic clubs. Look at Nottingham Forest, once very prestigious in Europe and England. It's nice to have them back in the EPL but who clamors for them globally like they once were regarded? And I say that as somebody who wishes some of the old English powerhouses would return to power. Leeds, Nottingham. Upset the apple cart a bit from these boring, dumb clubs like United.

EPL clubs, right now are dominant but Other than man utd of course. man utd has been further from the top of the EPL especially duration of his playing career. no top player wants to play in mediocre club. he could have jumped ship to top epl clubs like Liverpool, City and Chelsea. i think it's not entirely down to him. he still has potential and can cover big hole in our midfield.

We are still talking about him and his potential as if he is 22.

Lampard nails it here he was good at Juve very good for a young player and progressed a lot but there is a lot more progression that he had to do to become an established player.

I think the potential discussed now is not potential in terms of growth but the potential for him to return to what he once was which was a dominant midfielder with great range, passing, and vision to create along with being a threat from distance. There are doubts he can return to that form ( a form that puts him in the upper echelon of midfielders worldwide) or that he is too injured and has lost it. At a zero transfer fee and if the wages are good enough (big if, he loves his money for sure) then I think its worth the gamble.

Hard to say.

He's completely correct apart from slightly downplaying how good he was for us.
