How do contracts work? For eg, this one is 2017, but there's no guarantee that the player will accept those wages for that duration? He could in effect ask for more money in a year again right?? Or ask to be sold if we don't meet those demands?

He can ask for more money and we can deny it, if the contract is signed until 2017 (presuming there is no buy out clause in it), the only way he can leave the club is if Juve accept to selling him. Otherwise we end up in a Llorente @ Bilbao-esque situation :)

Juventus is run very professionally. New contracts and wages will be offered according to the club's own policies which take into consideration age, level of skill, growth, merits etc. Juventus is not out to "screw over" any of their players. The club will offer a better contract to Pogba when the time is right according to the club's policies. If Pogba is happy with being part of the wage structure of Juventus FC, there will never be a problem. The day he wants more money than the wage policies dictate, the club must decide whether or not to make an exception and pay him what he wants (or close to what he wants), or let him go. It's that simple, really.

As for when he could ask for more money, he could do that whenever he wants. But as for now, the terms and conditions of his current contract (the one that runs until 2017) is what counts.

Hopefully he doesn't want his share of the oil money out there. :D (anytime soon)

Time will tell, but for now I'm not even worried at all. Juve can offer really good wages, and that ought to keep him here for many years.

Yea, at the moment he is just happy to have playing time and playing in a team that can win trophies. At least I think so.

Indeed. And just to finish up on this wages-issue; they're an important factor for players, surely, but other factors also come into play. Such as having a good sporting project in place, working with the right coach etc. As long as Conte is in charge, I don't think we're gonna have a problem with Pogba.

I wouldn't be looking to giving him a new raise just yet. Needs to have at least 2 full years under his belt before we can do that.

The only problem we'll have with him is his agent, who we know all to well will try to sell him when he's really setting the stage alight.
True, but it's not set in stone that he'll accomplish that or even try it. Remember Raiola was also Nedved's agent, but those "other factors" came into play there; sporting project, right coaches, love for the shirt etc. Pogba said he was a juventino growing up, so we shouldn't rule out that he might actually wants to stay here. If not for his entire career, at least for a very long time.

Raiola is on good terms with Juve. I think that is pretty obvious, however that isn't going to try to spot him from making some extra money but I do think he will back off a bit when dealing with Pogba and his history with Ibra/Nedved/Juve.

I think of all the agents on earth, as scummy as he is :)D) I am fucking happy we are on these kinds of terms with Raiola.

Yeah, I guess. But it's just.... agents are agents, you know? Just because Raiola is a PR-horny fella, who loves to be in the spotlight, doesn't mean that all agents out there aren't exactly like him. We fear Raiola because it's easy to document his behavior, due to his image and how he loves to be public and theatrical about everything. But truth be told, all agents are constantly looking for a great deal, all the time. There's nothing special about Raiola in this regard at all.

What might separate him from many of the rest, though, is his ability to get what he wants. So perhaps there's something to fear, when I think about it :p

I just wanted to point out that the situation wouldn't necessarily be better with Pogba having another agent.
