I like him very much, and I think he will be one of the best midfielders in the world. There is just something about him I don't like, he seems lazy, or it's just the way he runs.

Its maybe becauzse he is tall as hell and he looks awkward when maneuvering his long legs, making him looks sloppy..
but he is totally the opposite

I guess so. We are so lucky to have him. BTW he is our default sub for Marchisio, Vidal and Pirlo. He will get plenty of time here.

The agent of Paul Pogba says that Juventus beat the likes of Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Real Madrid for his client.
The teenager moved to the Turin giants in the summer on a free transfer after his contract at Manchester United expired.
On Saturday night, he scored a stunning brace as the Old Lady defeated Udinese4-0 in Turin.
“His display was pleasing, but I already knew that he had certain skills,” Mino Raiola told the Corriere dello Sport.
“I agree with Juventus boss Antonio Conte, to eulogise about him now makes no sense.
“He’s shown that he has potential, but he must work, he must strengthen physically and grow by keeping his feet on the ground.
“Then he could become one of the best players in the world in his position. Like all great players, his only limitation is himself.
“Who else wanted him? Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Real Madrid and other English clubs. Inter? Yes, but they agreed to respect an agreement with Manchester United.”
The 19-year-old has four goals in 13 League games so far this season, eight appearances of which came from the first minute.
“I don’t know what Sir Alex Ferguson may have thought on Saturday,” Raiola added. “Maybe he underestimated his mental strength.
“When Paul understood that he wasn’t being enhanced, he decided that it was over in Manchester. He felt that a move away would do him good.”
Pogba was fielded as an alternative to Andrea Pirlo at the weekend, but his versatility allows him to be used in a variety of ways.
“He can play instead of Pirlo, but also as an inside midfielder or even as a centre-back at the end of his career like Frank Rijkaard.
“He has great tactical awareness. And what he is doing at Juventus is thanks toConte who isn’t scared to play youngsters.”
Raiola was also asked how he would describe his client given that he compared Mario Balotelli, another of his players, to the Mona Lisa.
“Pogba is like a Dali painting. Works of art are rare and are worth a lot because people appreciate them. Paul is one of them.”

It would be the same with any player we signed at 18/19. Its impossible to say that they will be with us for the entirety of their careers; such things are extremely rare in the modern game. Also...its not quite as simple as you outline. Pogba didn't leave Man U purely for more $. Raiola's involvement helped us, through his connection with Nedved, and yes the agent pocketed a million or so, but that is his job isn't it??? To find the player a club he wants to play for, to earn them both good money...
It would be nice to think he didn't try and force the move for that payoff, but this is one of the least ethical football agents around. A lot was suggested that Pogba was being offered a larger contract at Juve than Fergie was prepared to pay for, and I've read a lot of it was related to his attitude. I'm not saying it was poor, but we've seen that Pogba was dropped already at Juve for being unprofessional, and a lot of United fans seem to think it was down to that reason that he wasn't offered so much.

Pogba was chasing games, felt he was good enough to get more playing time elsewhere, at a club he apparently has supported since childhood, at least the Platini and Zidane connection, and at Man United he was not getting the chances he felt he deserved. How would you feel if you were consistently amazing in the youth teams, then the reserve teams, but then watched other players progress from youth to senior level, get more playing time, and worst of all Scholes, at 38 years old, return to the fold in a position you were born for...

The rise in wages is noticeable but too simplistic to focus on for the nuts and bolts of his move. It takes bravery, determination and a huge amount of confidence in your own ability to move countries, sign for a team which has recently emerged as having one of the finest midfields in europe, and challenge for the shirt in that midfield, when a player is 19 years old. The money helped, of course, but its a pittance compared to how much he will earn in the future.

I explained a little more of the transfer a long time ago here>

I can accept that you might attribute part of it to wanting more games at a different club (although it seems a bit excessive for an 18 year old at a team like Man Utd), and being uninspired by the lack of faith to call back a retired player to help out instead. He is still associated with an agent that will do a lot to pluck players from teams and move them to other places, like Bouy recently did too. I think they sniffed out this opportunity and Raiola worked a way for him to get more game time in.

As for his future, who knows? This Juve should grow into becoming more competitive on the market, but it might also not be able to keep up with the mega oil millions funding certain clubs. Would be nice if Nedvěd had a grip on Raiola's leash while his players are here, it was also nice of Pogba to say the opposite of his agent when he was dropped and admit he was in the wrong instead of denying it. Not going to expect anything though, remains a player that has moved around several times already at a young age, and anything he says about supporting Juve is part of the script of the modern footballer. Probably a bit morbid to talk about this when he's at the beginning of his career though.
