TO be quite honest, I've never had the feeling that the club meant to build itself around Pogba. Nor did I think Pogba ever seemed to suggest he would stay here long-term. It was nice to joke around about it... but Pogba always seemed to be on borrowed-time here.
Dybala seems different. The outlay to get him, the faith the club showed with spending more on him than any player in recent times, as a 21 year old. Dybala really does seem the face of the franchise for the post-Gigi era. And I think he'll be much happier with that than Pogba. Especially if we continue to grow and build a European powerhouse over the next few years.
I honestly think there is a huge difference with Pogba and Dybala and how the club sees them, and our managements willingness to sell them. I'd bet we do pull a Bayern-Ribery with Dybala if it comes to it, but I think Dybala is much more likely to stay here, and be happy to do so, as long as we continue to succeed, and challenge on all fronts.
