Remember Raiola was Nedved's agent too.
But Nedved was very sure of what he wanted. Raiola coudnt mess with him.

Pogs is a little boy compared to Nedved when Raiola offered offers outside Juve. Also raiola would naturally try to enforce his sale because he is like 3 times more valuable than nedved was at that time.

I think Raiola pricing his players so high isn't exactly bad for us in this case.

Also, he seems to strike me as an agent who respects his player's wishes.

I think he does.. but to a certain degree.

Pogba is a very particular case in his portfolio. He needs to pounce because Pogba could turn into the client of a lifetime for him

Pogba was decent enough when our midfield was playing football in the first half. He went under when they all went under in the second half.

He did try hard to drive forward at the end of the game.

Pogba: 'Juve didn't take chances'
By Football Italia staff

Paul Pogba said “it wasn’t our best performance” after Juventus were defeated in Sevilla. “We didn’t take our chances.”

The Bianconeri would’ve been top of their Champions League group with a point in Spain, but were beaten 1-0 by former teammate Fernando Llorente’s header.

This allowed Manchester City to overtake them in Group D, beating Borussia Monchengladbach 4-2.

“We tried hard for the victory, but did not take the chances that we created.
The important thing is that we qualified,” Pogba told Mediaset Premium.

“There are 11 of us on the field and we all give 100 per cent to help each other out. We didn’t get a result tonight, but we did try to play our football.

“It wasn’t our best performance, but it wasn’t that bad either.”

Del Piero: 'Pogba atypical no.10’
By Football Italia staff

Alessandro Del Piero says Paul Pogba is an 'atypical Juventus number 10’ because he isn’t 'a complete player.’

The former Bianconeri great spoke to Sky Sport Italia’s 'Football Night’ programme about the Champions League, the upcoming clash with Fiorentina and his memorable goal against La Viola in 1994.

“When we think of the Juventus number 10 we imagine a complete player,” he said.

“But today Pogba isn’t yet, he’s an atypical number 10. You have to give him a bit of time to grow even more.

“I don’t know if Juventus will return to the Champions League final.

“It must be said that at the moment Bayern and Barcelona are unreachable, but who knows if they have a small decline.

“My goal against Fiorentina? It definitely changed my season and that of Juventus. The fact that we managed to recover two goals and then win the game, we pretty much turned it on its head, giving us the knowledge that we could win against anyone.

“Everything I did that year came out of that victory. The goal? Pure instinct.

“I don’t think the Juventus support has forgotten Paulo Sousa, he will definitely get a great reception.”

Yeah we all know barza and bayern are above the line right now, but i refuse to say they are untouchable. They can be beaten with some luck. Very difficult? Yes, but is not like we need togo onthefield and let them trample us.

We should not instill in ourselves the thought of them being invincible

Bayern is not invincible with our style, we have a pretty good chance to rip their defense with quick vertical football on counter attacks I think.
And Barca is not invincible too, but we would need to play our best game + luck, and we didn't have much luck in the last season final.
But it would be easier for us to beat them in one leg.

Cannavaro: 'Pogba must prove himself’
By Football Italia staff

Fabio Cannavaro believes Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba “has yet to prove that he’s a great player”.

The Frenchman took over the famous number 10 shirt this summer, and has returned to form in recent weeks after a difficult start to the season.

Pogba isn’t doing very well at the moment,” Cannavaro, a former Bianconeri defender, told Cadena Ser.

“This year should’ve been his consecration because it was his first without [Arturo] Vidal and [Andrea] Pirlo next to him.

“The great players are those who play 10 or 15 years at the same level. One good year doesn’t mean he’ll be the midfielder of the future.

“It’s phenomenal that [Barcelona’s Andres] Iniesta has played at his level for 10 years.

Pogba has yet to prove that he’s a great player. He has the potential but needs to learn how to withstand pressure. That’s what makes a great player.

Cannavaro won the Ballon d’Or during his playing days, and admits he was surprised to be given the prize as a defender.

“[FIFA] always wants to give the Ballon d’Or to a striker. To win it as a defender, you have to do everything right.

“I won the World Cup with Italy playing very well, but I was surprised it was awarded it to me.

“When I received the call from France Football [who awarded the prize before it merged with the FIFA World Player of the Year], I didn’t believe it was them.

“I never thought I’d win it. Some may see it as a good thing, others as a bad thing, but I keep the trophy in my bedroom.

“In Italy, players like [Paolo] Maldini, [Gianluigi] Buffon and [Franco] Baresi never won it either.

“To win it, you have to be lucky that the forwards didn’t do so well. If [Lionel] Messi and [Cristiano] Ronaldo score 50 or 60 goals, [FIFA] will always give it to them.”

Someone should tell Cannavaro to stop shitting on our players. @CrimsonianKing

That was weak. Try harder next time.

And yes, he's right. Pogba has lacked consistency in every season he's played for us. Some more, some less.
