Depends, if transfer fees continue to rise as quickly as they've done the past few years, it's alright.
imo the deal is good regardless if it's 25m or 30m, I'm just saying it's strange that we volunteered for a very pricey credit line, must be more to it like us wanting to keep a good relationship with Samp or Schick wanting to leave on good terms

I meant that if prices continue to rise, 10 million now, 10 million next year and 10 million in 2 years (hypothetical) might be better than paying 25 million now.

Because relatively, those 10 millions in two years time would be worth less than 10 million today, just as you could've bought much more with 10 million two years ago compared to now.

Yeah thats true. Imagine the asking price if he didnt had a clause tho.

We seem to be wanting to build a good relation with these teams.
The Bayern of Serie A. When we started our scudetto run it was incredibly difficult to sign quality players in Serie A from teams that weren't Udinese. Sampdoria refused to sell us Pazzini and Cassano because we took Marotta and Paratici.

Good memory

And now, slowly we are trying to get them all in our charm. Making these nice deals (example : caldera) that they can keep the player for a while longer. Offering higher then the clause cause it benefits both. (its a great deal for samp tbh, and convenient for us).

I like it

Would not bet on quickly. Allegri will take his time introducing the player.
Not if its an offensive player with little tactical/organisatorial duty's. There is a difference

Since we haven't wrapped up the signing before the tournament starts, it's kind of in our best interest that he plays poorly in it :shifty:

I wouldn't bet on that. There's no official announcement but it probably has been a done deal for some time.
I hope so, but we've had way too many deals fall through when they looked done so I'll believe it when Schick is on a treadmill in a mesh vest.

I'd be less confident if it wasn't a Sampdoria player and all links to other teams hadn't gone dead :D

Looks to me like a pre-contract agreement, then U21s, so medical when he returns and official. Blame me for the jinx if not.
