does this mean he'll miss the Samp game aswell?
Until now, he will only be ready for the game against Milan. I hope if he recovers to play against Sampdoria to come in as a substitute and not be treated in a moronic behaviour like Zebina.

i think its not too serious they are just making sure the injury clears up so veira will not have any problems in future matches.

imo i expect to see him back against samp, but if he is back for milan and in top form then fine

i don´t mind losing him to samp and have him fully recovered for the rest of the season, specially the game against Milan. But I will sure miss him tomorrow in München:(

La Stampa writes it could be a lengthy spell on sidelines for Paddy. Although my understanding of italian is bad I get the case is sports hernia.

UMich Health System (as well as La Stampa suggests) says that rest is the cure. It would take from weeks to few months for symptoms to go away. If rest and physical therapy does not help then it would need a surgery. PhysioRoom.com says that it will take 6-8 weeks for rehabilitation. So in worst case it could be a stop of around 6 months. :( Well, I hope I am (and La Stampa is) wrong.

So thank you very much Mr. Domenech for insisting on playing Vieira against Cyprus when he had already problems in match against Switzerland.

we miss vieira in the midfield , i wonder how could we managed to win the schdetto without him last season.
The lost has nothing to do with one player. The whole team stopped playing. We were not a team...

He was trying not to blame Capello by mentioning Vieira's absence.

its another thing having one player and
use him regularly and not having him in ur roster at all,

our team started to feel confident and good with Vieira
and we couldnt deliver the same without him now we are used with him.

He is one of the few irreplaceable players in our team,
his play and roll are vital for our game this year
esp when we have to use 100% of our power

I do blame capello for his style of play but the more important thing that we lack players like vieira who can do a lot of things in defence and in attacks
