Of course it is possible.Our dependence on a player is not measured by the number of substitutes we have for him, but the amount of influence he exerts on the team and how we are able to cope in his absence. Blasi and Giannichedda are his replacements in times of injury and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that they will not be able to produce anything near his performances this season, from which the team has benefitted immensely.
He's become a real 'go-to' man in the middle of the park with Nedved on the wane, and the two afore mentioned players can't attack like he can in his role in front of Emerson.In other words we'd have to switch our tactics around without him which definitely spells a growing dependence on the man.
I'm not saying that he's as influential as the Nedved we had two years back, of course.

Patrick Vieira dovrebbe saltare le prossime tre partite della Juventus: i centrocampista francese soffre di una forma leggera di pubalgia legata a problemi di postura e non dovrebbe giocare contro il Bayern Monaco, Lecce e Sampdoria.
Il centrocampista francese dovrebbe rientrare in campo per la sfida contro il Milan in programma a San Siro il 30 ottobre.
