maybe because he had Ashley Young on his side who doesent provide any defensive work at all. also, he is an offensive fullback who likes to go forward a lot so he sometimes leaves a lot of space which an unorganized team like United from last season couldnt cover well. also, United doesent defend well as a unit, unlike us. playing in our team will mask Evras defensve weaknesses and he will provide quite a lot going forward too. he will be good for us

He's definitely not a bad player even currently. Obviously he's not going to light the World up but he'll likely be more than enough for league games and has enough CL experience at the very highest level.

I'd much prefer him at LB than Asamoah, he's so wasted there and just looks lost for Ghana at LB.

If his wages are 2m - 2.5 I don't mind him.

I just don't get it why we're after him.Is Asamoah going to be benched? I can't see it tbh it wouldn't be Conte. He will play Asa even as LB IMO.

If we can get Morata and Iturbe this summer, I see no problem with a short term fix with getting Evra.

It's ok.

With him (if everything goes well) we have 2 years to find someone better (buy,promote somebody or something like that..) and forget about that position and focus on something different.


:xfinger: that he stays injury free.
