It's ok.

With him (if everything goes well) we have 2 years to find someone better (buy, promote somebody or something like that..) and forget about that position and focus on something different.

:xfinger: that he stays injury free.
I think he has a couple years left in him especially if he's rotating with Asamoah. :xfinger:

I dont like how we are actually paying a transfer fee for him that too 2m for a 33 yr old defender.
Would've much rather preferred Cole instead

Would be happy if he were free. 2 mil isn't terrible, better than moratas price for value. At the very least he can help us hold on to pogba.
He's better than Cole because of that, and he can also speak Italian.

He will be fine in Serie A, the slowest league known to man where Luca Toni looks like Shevchenko. And he's fine in possession which we have a lot of.

The CL is a different story.

He is still good enough for at least 1 season, good defensively, has the expirience for the CL,even if he's not that fast or good for the attacks.
The most improtant factor:we're bringing him for like 1-2M,so why spend more money that we don't have?

We should invest money on Wingers/forward this summer.
next summer we can maybe go for a better/new LB.

Asa/Evra is more than enough for now imo.
