My personal hatred for what? I don't hate religion. I don't hate Christianity. I don't hate Islam.

Stop making absurd claims.

There is clear support to be found in scripture for violence and atrocity in almost all major religions. It's all up to the believer to decide whether or not they want to follow such scripture literally.
Did you not say that religion is insanity or was that someone else ?

So you are saying the results of a survey cannot be skewed due to the questions asked? Sure if the survey was do you support Isis, yes or no, then its pretty black and white, however I highly doubt the questions were that clear cut. But sure you can keep throwing around pointless backhanded statements.
what I am saying is that when you are splitting hairs, like you did, you know you are already hunting for excuses.

do you honestly believe that the questions of said survey were so treacherous and ill-conceived that the real number of ISIS supporters, to one extent or another, is 4000 as opposed to 40+ mil. Trying to look for excuses in fine-tuning how the questions may have been worded or not is only relevant (to an extent) in say figuring out if a person is willing to go fight for ISIS (or commit atrocities on their behalf) or just supports their ideology, in general. A level of support is present either way and that's the part that matters.

And I am not married to the 42 mil number either - even if the real number is only 1/4th of that, that would already be a cause for concern.

So, unless you are claiming that the survey consisted of asking a blind person to push one of two really, really closely-spaced buttons, yes, you are splitting hairs in looking for an excuse. At some point, you just have to accept that things are what they are and the world is not this beautiful place with rivers made out of honey.

Washington (CNN): President Barack Obama said that the U.S. strategy against ISIS has "contained them," but not yet succeeded in its effort to "decapitate" ISIS leadership.

This is from 6 hours ago. Dictionaries should carry this new meaning for "contain"

He is such a piece of garbage.

Not I. I don't think I did. Maybe in teasing you a long time ago, but not in this conversation. I said religion can be beautiful, but it also be poisonous...
Than I apologize if I misquoted you. It is just the same old story sometimes on here. Right away the believers are the problem in this world. Yet more people have been killed by non believers as by believers. The issue is perversion of ideology be it religious or secular

I got his point, what I'm saying is I don't agree at all

I don't see how personal attacks have anything to do with this. That attitude will do you good.
You don't agree with what about it? That ordinary, sane people are quite easily persuaded to commit unspeakable atrocities?

I can list examples, but that would be silly... All of human history is one big example of ordinary people doing horrific things to one another.
