Again, a benefit of higher testosterone levels in boxing.
Going back on what @ALC wrote earlier, I've noticed that a lot of people only focus on the records. If the athlete in question doesn't win, everything is fine. But that's not how it works. We are talking about Olympic level athletes. The best of the best in women's sports. To get there, you have already surpassed numerous competitors. If, on the other hand, she would have had to compete with men from the start, she'd probably not rank in the top 2000 boxers.
I was a decent runner when I was younger. Maybe, if I had to compete with women, I could have made it to the Olympics on the 400 meters (I have the exact same height and weight as Kevin and Jonathan Borlée, who ran Olympic finals). Don't get me wrong, these are still fantastic times and they're hard to achieve for any man. But looking at those times I think yeah, maybe I could have run a somewhat decent time. Zero chance with the men.

Some 1-2% of humans are born intersex. This is pretty true in the animal kingdom more broadly as well.
But that truth is cognitively world-destroying for people who need to other anybody who isn't cleanly cookie-cutter gender-stamped. Any "other" needs to be lumped in as some guy who got trans surgery, even if they were born without junk. "God don't make mistakes", they'd say.
12-5 would suggest that, though I hate using win percentage as a kind of litmus test. Because winning a boxing match is mental and physical and so much more than having Y chromosomes.

Probably for those specific cases the women should pass some extra tests to ensure if they should compete in the women division or not.
Call it the kitchen test. Let her cook, clean and take care of some kids for a week.

you put a man with basic boxing training against women and they’ll get destroyed 100 times out of 100.
To @Seven ’s point this is the Olympics and you have the fittest and toughest people competing. There’s genetic variance between people and if she is considered a woman, which seems to be the case, why isn’t this just part of her genetic variance? It’s not like she’s trans or was born a man.
Let’s also disqualify Phelps’ results because his proportions were perfect for swimming and gave him an unfair advantage.

You even have groups saying hypospadias is an intersex disorder. It is definitely not an intersex disorder and these people are simply 100 percent male and almost always identify as such. But given that it is the most common congenital disorder among men and it involves the genitals, it allows special interest groups to really ramp up the numbers.
Regardless there are real intersex conditions and whatever the percentage is, there are obviously quite a few people afflicted given that they are such a hot topic at the Olympics.
