De Ceglie is a lost player at this time, stuck somewhere in the middle between left back and left midfielder. He would have fit great at Capello's Scudetto winning Roma, in place of Candella as an attacking fullback, where he sometimes used a 5-3-2/3-5-2 system.

Samuel-------Zago
Cafu--------------------------De Ceglie

He doesn't stand a chance in hell at ever taking Nedved's role, his best bet is pulling a Zambrotta and beffing up his defensive skills and replacing Molinaro.

I believe Ranieri see him more like a Nedved than like a Molinaro.

It is a very different skill to play LM against a team like Milan who want to play football and leave space for you to play in.

In games against smaller teams there is much less space and De Ceglie has been proven to be pretty ineffective playing LM against them.

He just needs to work on his defending and he can become a good LB.

This is madness!
no,
this is wolfsburg !

it is pretty funny to see how crap zaccardo is for them ... he was so often substituted at halftime or even only getting on for 10 minutes.

felix magath really tried everything, but zaccarda pays back the faith with sloppy displays

Fuck! We should've sold him to Wolfsburg while we could. Now Amauri, Trez and Co. are stuck with his perfect crosses (which is like the only thing he's good at) for at least 4 more seasons :wallbang:

For all the hardships that have befallen Juventus its nice to see that the board & coach are serious about keeping ahold of our youngsters & utilising them.

Great stuff.
