DC I think but think of how much better DC will be playing regularly for Napoli. I think in the long term (providing we get them back)...letting Criscito and DC play regularly will help them improve drastically. I am not the one to go for loans/co-owns as I would much rather be the team that is developing them, I find it hard to trust another team and coach are the ones to develop our players.
Sure but is he going to play regularly at Juve? Should he be, in your opinion?

I think that no ones is against selling our players, that they have proven to be not good enough for Juve. But selling players who havent given the chance to prove themselves and keep players who have clearly demonstrated that they are not Juve quality instead, is insane!!

And what ones have been sold without having been given a chance?

They havent been sold yet, but they might be sold, Criscito+DC.
DC is, just like Giovinco, has grown with the ambition to offer themselves to Juve.
They want to be Juve players, even if the serve us as subs, which occasionally have the chance to prove their value. CR has denied them that chance.
But they love Juve so much, that they would rather stay under the same circumstances and try once more!!

If we loan them out now, they will lose that ambition. All their lives they were expecting this chance and when it is taken from them, at this age, it will forever mark them and change.
They will have to adapt to their new home. As there is a chance that they will never come back. Esp if their new teams has the 50% of their contract.
They will have to fight for them, even against Juve and they will have to live with the idea that this might be their permanent home.

They will only come back as mercenaries or they would rather prefer to stay there, just like Criscito. He was brought here as a sub, when all he wanted was to play. CR gave him no chance and when he had to pit him against Totti, in game our defense collapsed as a whole, he took the blame by himself. And CR never gave him the chance to prove himself in decent circumstances.
While in Genoa, they ve always believed in him and trust him for their present and future project. I do understand why he doesnt want to return to us...
And i dont want to see the same happening with DC and Giovinco.
They are willing to stay as subs and since we participate in 3 competitions, i believe that we find a way to use them with a proper use of rotation.

If we decide to loan them out, we should at all costs avoiding loaning them out with the right to buy. Our managers are not exp enough to handle such deals to our benefit!

so the plan is to sell 50% of Criscito and De Ceglie in order to earn about 10 mil to buy Dossena or Grosso with Molinaro as back up....:shifty: should i be satisfied??
time will show that DC and Criscito will shine in Napoli and Genoa and we will be forced either to lose 2 great LBs or sign them back twice the price we sold them :(
im all in all for a DC/Criscito as LBs for 09/10 rather than a Dossena/Molinaro....

You can't not sell players just because they may score against you.

Palladino isn't good enough and isn't likely to become good enough to play for Juve, so we might as well cash in on him.
but palladino did just that in their win against us in april... so we better keep all players so they can not score against us !

yep, DC the more offensive, criscito when we need to lock down the opponent's right.

lol i like Real Madrid way of dealing, instead of co-ownership, they sell the player but with an option to buy him back at a fixed price. they did the same with De la Red and Soldado and a couple of other players

Where he played last night for Italy, in front of the left back in a three. Admittedly an area which will be packed, but his versatility should be a positive, he can play left back in certain games.

We have a lot of better options for that position than him. I see him being shipped out.

Much better system than the co-ownership BS.

Thats what united did too with Rossi. They've sold him to villareal with the option to buy him back for a fixed price. You get the money for selling the player (twice as much as what you get for selling half he's contract) plus you'll have an option to buy him back if he ever improved. Win-win situation........

No doubt it seems that way. I know we have an attachment to our youth products but if the squad has better players in an overloaded position then the club has to be sensible and sell the ones who won't play to fund spending in other areas.
