He did ok with one great effort at goal, although he looked pretty shaky at times with his technique under pressure.

Probably a lack of confidence as it was his 1st time playing against a semi-big team.

Big team sounds a bit weird, and it woulnd't be right to call them a small team. And since Roma has done well in the recent 2-3 years, this term would be ideal.
