Loan and option to buy?

That's a good deal, we don't need to buy him for the fixed amount anyways as there is no obligation. We can always negotiate to lower the fee in June.

Good signing.

didn't Matri start of on a loan as well :(
Both Matri and Quag were bought with 4+ million for the loan with obligation to buy for a set price. Osvaldo is here for 400k and an option to buy. The same kinda deal for Boriello, Bendtner, Aquilani and Traore, all of whom we returned to sender after their six months.

Exactly, the same thing was said for most of Marotta's transfers, but we should know better than now, fool us once, shame on him, fool twice, thrice etc, shame on us...
And Matri came at winter transfer window and he was also overpriv=ced only because of his nationality and we knew that he is a limited player that cant be our starter in the long run and would limit our potential to buy a better forward for the coming transfer window...
It was not one season.

And so far it's just a loan, we didn't waste 15mln euros.
For a finisher scoring 15 years/season is just a mediocre season, and he only scored that much only one year before he took that transfer to EPL,
for the rest of his carrier he averaged at about 10 goals/season, thats quite pathetic.

Juve should aim for the class of consistent 18-20 plus goals/season finishers.
Osvaldo never achieved that in his carrier and never will, he only had one half decent season and he is still going with the hype from that season, that only reflects as an echo in Italy, as he has failed miserably in the EPL.
Only in Italy he still holds some value and only Juve would pay all that cash, at this moment, for such a mediocre player.
The only reason here is natioanlism!

His last 3 seasons, he has 40 goals in 79 league matches, or one goal every 2 matches played. The goal amounts are more due to number of matches played, than his inability to find the net.
